Wouldn't oppose much against these selections; Watkins is clearly BPA and the 9ers need a new top CB.

Hell no on the update, if we are there and Teddy is gone. Clowney is the pick there no doubt in my mind. I take him 999 times out of 1000 the other one is Fales

I would agree with you except for the fact that I don't think the Cards would take Clowney and start him over Calais Campbell or Darnell Dockett seeing as Clowney hasn't played in a 4-3 yet. This of course is my opinion, you know your team more than I.

We run a 3-4 so you have me lost

That, sir, was a typo Smile
It was supposed to say he hasn't played in a 3-4

Ya, what I thought you meant. And Dockett is not playing as well as he used to. FYI

1. I know Jo Lonn is a free agent this upcoming offseason, but I think the hole at FS will be much greater than the whole he could potentially create if he leaves. HaHa is the best cover safety in the draft and is exactly what we need at the back of our secondary, assuming TJ McDonald pans out as our SS.

2. Way to slide Lyerla to the Broncos lol

Boyd good pick in first round. An o.t. in second round not very good. Could see an o.t. in the 4th round or so for depth.

I would bet anything 7 QBs won't get drafted in the first 2 rounds.

The Bears picking 29th- LOL. Is Jay Cutler going to be a good NFL QB all of a sudden?

Why would the Bucs take another CB? We just traded for Revis and drafted Jonthan Banks. Not only that we have young depth in Leonard Johnson and Anthony Gaitor.

Our biggest needs will probably lie at SLB, DT, WR, TE, DE.

ASJ is the early "trendy" pick right now.

I get the first rounder, but why would you give Pittsburgh a RB in round 2? We just drafted LeVeon Bell a few weeks ago... in round 2. Confused

As a fan of mock drafts, the NFL, and the Cowboys, I do enjoy mocks. Mocks should be what one thinks the team will do, not should do and definitely not what a fan envisions would be the right choice. It works out.

The Cowboys probably do need to draft a QB although in the 1st round is highly if not definitely not going to happen. AJ McCarron is really suspect even as a 1st round QB and I went to Alabama so I am partial to him.

The assumption in round 2 is Dallas needs a safety. That remains to be seen as the OTAs have shown that Wilcox and Johnson are more than capable.

Best bet would be the DL and OL still. If Jeffcoat is available when Dallas picks in the 1st and I'm not sure he will be, he will be the pick. In the second, I would think at the moment it would be a OL or S or DT. Just because a sportswriter says a team needs this or that, they are just aiming for you to read. If they were any good they would be hired by a team.

Garrett does control the draft as much as we all want to believe Jerry is the root of all evil. If anyone remembers what Garrett and Jerry said after the 2012 draft is that they really expect they would need to address the offense in the 2013 draft. Guess no one wanted to remember that.

D'Anthony Thomas is only listed as a RB because of his size. Have you ever seen him play!? His is Tavon Austin, only slightly faster. He doesn't get a lot of pub on the east coast because he plays at Oregon, AND because of the blur offense that we run. He can do it all, run, catch, special teams. YouTube him if you don't know him. Pittsburgh would be lucky to be able to draft someone like this that far down in the 2nd round.
