I called Gronkowski injury prone earlier this off-season and was called a troll for it. Can I assume I can safely say this now? Because he really seems to be injury prone.

Not allowed to yet.
'

Why is not injury prone at this point? He has now had reoccurring back problems.

DAAAMNNN! Sad That sucks man! I dont know anybody who doesnt love Gronk. Crazy to see such a young stud be subjected to all these surgeries, thats a lot of times to go under the knife in one year wether its back or forearm , thats a lot of times, sad, he must be so frustrated!
I don't think Gronk is capable of feeling negative emotions. His fans have to do it for him.

We have to wait until New England fans give us permission to first. Or else we're just jealous of the Patriots dynasty.

I'll call him injury prone just when I started to think the injury concerns for him coming into the draft where disproven he started having issues with his back again hope he can get healthy because you never want injuries to derail a career.

I only quoted you because your sig quote is one of the funniest things I've read on FF.....Ever.

One of my favorite players to watch when he's healthy. Hope he can get back and stay back.

***Update***
Quote:
The agent for New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski told a Miami sports radio station Thursday that the upcoming surgery on his client’s back is not serious and its recovery timetable will be "very comparable to the amount of time he would miss" after a fourth surgery on his forearm.

Agent Drew Rosenhaus described the back surgery as “preventative maintenance” and referred to it as "killing two birds with one stone" during his interview with WQAM.

"In Rob's case, it's not a serious back surgery, it's unrelated to the original surgery that he had as a junior in college," said Rosenahus, referring to the injury that kept Gronk off the field in 2009 and played a part in his falling to the second round of the 2010 NFL draft. "That's totally [fine] and recovered perfectly. This is a new injury and it's minor; it's not as significant.

"It's certainly, as I said, the recovery time will be consistent with the recovery time that he's going to be out anyway, so I don't think it's a big deal. ... Although he needs it, he had it for a while and he's been able to function."

@AdamSchefter: This will be Patriots TE Rob Gronkowski's fifth surgery since November -- four on his forearm and this on his back.

I think this is secretly a method that the Patriots are using to transform Gronkowski into a metallic cyborg who will be unstoppable by mere humans.

Hmmm... his contract doesn't reach 6 million dollars until 2015.

Let me give you my personal opinion, on what I think has happened.
It all started with the release of the coke machine in Brandon Jacobs.

Shocked

That's a thread winner, without question. Bravo to you sir.

Hopefully he is ready for week one. Doble T's is going to need all the weapons he can get.
