Let me give you my personal opinion, on what I think has happened.
It all started with the release of the coke machine in Brandon Jacobs.

I don't really like Lynch, but I love where we're selecting. Wink

Lynch is talented, but he may be too much of a character concern. Carey is amazing value, but a lot of that will depend on MJD. I would love to have Carey on the team.

Hard to imagine not going CB in the first two rounds.

I rather have a WR like Lee or Coleman then in the second they could draft a ILB like Jackson or Skov.

Not to bad for the Falcons really i like addressing the interior lines for sure.

Hagman at 6'5 to 6'6 can def. add weight to his frame if he can get to say 315 or 32o in a couple of years and keep a good bit of his speed and strength he could be a monster and anchor for the falcons for years to come in any scheme we play.

i have Smith rated a lot higher than Mariota.

The Giants are one of the easier teams to mock right now. With Cruz doing his thing, a big hole is opened up for a receiver to go next to Nicks and Randle. Jackson is also a no brainer at the LB spot.

Im going to ride my Jacksonville pick for the division for a while. I see something special going on there.

I understand the concerns with Lynch, but babin isnt a long term player, and Lynch provides tons of upside if he comes out.

Carey is also a no-brainer if MJD goes elsewhere.

I understand the concern with corner, but I have no one rated high enough for the first pick, and if MJD leaves, Carey is a better pick for the team imo than a Robertson.

I feel that Johnson fills a bigger need at a aging LB spot since two pretty good receivers are already in place on the team.

Nix is the best 34 nose prospect in years, and could go this high with the new rookie wage scale. Philly really needs to address the spot, especially with two conceivably good OLB options in Barwin and Cole. Barr would be a waste with those two on the team.

I like where the Bears are playing…well kinda lol…

But the picks themselves are pretty poor…we just spent two draft picks on LBs and even if Bostic & Greene don’t make much of an impact this season I doubt we go out and draft two more LBs in the first two rounds…CB or DE are our biggest needs right now so Scott Crichton would be a better pick in the 1st round with Justin Gilbert in the 2nd round.

If we somehow pick top 10 we need more of a game changer.

Until he proves otherwise, I have high hopes for Shawn Williams. We have had good luck with Georgia players recently.

I also think we will be able to retain at least one of Johnson or Dunlap and we just drafted Hunt, so I don't think we go DE that early either.

We don't exactly have a need for NT anyway, and NT's ALWAYS fall in the draft.

Can't see the 9ers not picking a DB in the first two rounds.

I can understand the reason why people keep selecting a WR early for them, but as a fan I do hope these reasons are gone before the draft in 2014.

I think the DE position could be addressed (even if Branch and Alualu pan out), but I don't know if I buy us overlooking Lynch's concerns.

Then again, perhaps his concerns are overblown. In that case, he'd probably be a good selection.
