I really hope his knees are better. Have been a fan since college even if he is a tad over zealous. But so is Rex Ryan at times.

To bad he's not healthy because if he was this would be a good move by the Jets.

If he was healthy, he wouldn't be signing with the jets.

He's looked pretty good so far during the try out. I'm pretty sure we will offer him a contract, as long as he keeps things up.

If he was healthy, he wouldn't be signing with the jets.

Why? He has a clear path to playing time.

Why? He has a legitimate shot to not only play, but start.

Unless, of course, you didn't actually have a meaningful argument and only meant to troll.

I don't know. If I recall, he requested to be released by the Pats and retired because his knees couldn't hold up anymore. And for him to come back and try to play....

According to Kellen himself it had nothing to do with his health. He was cut by Seattle less than a month before, his wife was pregnant, and he didn't want to uproot his family. Due to all of that plus the fact that he was playing on a crowded depth chart in NE he just wasn't 100% focused and asked for his release because he thought that would be best for him and his family. The reason he was cut from Seattle was due to money.

His knees are a concern no doubt, but so far at our mini camp he has looked pretty good. No setbacks, albeit it's not training camp yet. But still, it would be a low risk signing and he sounds like he is pretty focused and raring to go.

I remember when we signed Laron Landry, there was no way he was healthy or can last. Yet he played all 16 games and made the probowl, got himself a large contract elsewhere.

Winslow apparently looked good at minicamp, we'll see how he holds up but its worth a shot considering its a area of need for us.
