QB Mike Kafka claimed off waivers by #Jaguars - fourth former #Patriots player in recent weeks to end up there (Love, Deaderick, Ebert)

Rodriguez was a 4th round pick in 2012 but has had off-the-field issues including arrests which forced the Bears to release him.

In what world would you rather have Tebow as your backup over Kafka?

In related news, Jax really loves there Patriot castoffs.

The only way to get Tebow to Jacksonville is for the Patriots to waive him, they will jump all over it like they do every other Patriot release Laughing

I'm disappointed by the media's lack of Kafka puns and references.

Um- any world, Kafka's horrible and has never done anything at the NFL level, at least Tebow has some talent.

Imagine if Kafka does enough in training camp and lands the Jaguar's starting job. Given their QB situation it wouldn't be a surprise.

As part of Der Process, Contemplation of his Metamorphosis will ultimately lead to The Judgement of him as a player. He could star as an Amerikan quarterback, or he could Disappear to Nowhere....that's all i've got...I'm hungry, Picasso.

Kafka can at least throw the football which is more than we can say for Tebow.

Money Mike is good for passes that travel 10 yards or less. Beyond that, categorizing them as anything more than a wounded duck would be an embellishment.

Do two unrelated insignificant signings somehow combine to be major news? Why was this combined in one topic? Why is this a topic at all? The NFL news forum is for in-depth NFL news discussion. Members can use the team forums to discuss these claims.
