Hes not a starting RB in the NFL, nor is he even a backup. At his best, hes a reliable 3rd/4th string RB that isnt very good at special teams.

Its up to Montee Ball, Ronnie Hillman, Knowshon Moreno and Jacob Hester now.

Where is Moreno's role in this backfield? Is he basically the 3rd RB at this point?

No shock here; unfortunately for Willis, the market isn't kind to overage running backs. He still has enough left in the tank to contribute to a team, but he will be a total value signing for someone.

If things go south with Goodson's legal situation, the Jets could be a great landing spot.

Ivory and McGahee would be a powerful combination.

If he's smart, he will hold out for a deal until Training Camp hits. RB is one of the most oft injured positions in the NFL, and some team will overpay for a still capable RB like Willis. He can play 3rd down too, as he is excellent in pass pro.

I know people don't like Moreno but he played very well last season towards the end when McGahee went down. He saved my fantasy season actually as my rb3 Very Happy
Anyhow, I think Ball will be fine as their starter and Hillman as the change of pace back. Denver will be even better this season than last.

Kind of scary going into the season with Moreno, Ball, and Hillman as your 3 RBs.

As long as Manning stays healthy it won't matter. If at any stage the running game is forced to carry the load, this becomes an issue.

In terms of carries, Montee Ball will get around 60%, Hillman around 30% and then Moreno/Hester will get the rest of them.

I don't know about that. I think Hillman may get more based on what I've heard from Gase in interviews. He's bigger, stronger, better blocker and he's always had good hands. Just going to wait and see in preseason.

Though I thought McGahee would've been around during TC but so be it.

Do you mean bigger, stronger and better blocker than last year or than Ball? I assume you mean the former.

most likely not. Montee and Ronnie are locks. Knowshon is a good back up back. And Hester would be the big back, fullback, special teams player.
