Not sure if this qualifies as news, but I figured I'd post it.

i think this is going to be a fun Hard Knocks to watch, a lot of talent on the team with some pretty cool stories.

Margus Hunt is gonna be one of my favorites to watch

Not a bad choice. Wish I had HBO though.

It's kinda disappointing because they were on it just a few years ago, i wish a new team that wasn't featured on it would of been selected [aka agreed], but i guess no one else wanted to.

I always like Hard Knocks, but I'm not particularly interested in the Bengals. Can't think of many particularly interesting stories there other than them striving to overtake the Ravens and Steelers.

I'd have liked to see the Ravens on it again, to explore the immediate post-Ray Lewis situation, but I think it could easily become a distraction for them.

The Vikings would have been good too, with Ponder under pressure to start performing and those three 1st round picks with high expectations on them.

The Jets QB circus would have made for interesting TV, but as a Bengals fan, I love it.

But besides Marvin Lewis, the team has almost totally turned over.

#BeatByBilly

I wish another team were on too, just because I'd like to see other teams get a shot at it. Not to say it won't be interesting though.

I'll be watching. Always liked the Hard Knocks series.

Why not have a real team on Hardknocks for once? No one cares about the Bengals, plus they're a retread, they've already been featured. I figured that the Patriots with Tebow was a sure fire bet to be on that show, was kind of hoping the Packers would get the gig though.

You do realize that HBO just can't pick any team they want to be on the show, teams have to agree to be on it. Maybe the Bengals were the only team that wanted to be on it.

There is almost no chance that Green Bay or New England would be on hard knocks. They keep all of their stuff so close to the vest. Can't see BB or MM/TT ever going for Hard Knocks. And trust me, I am sure HBO asks every year to try to get those big name teams. They just never get accepted.

I seem to remember a year or two ago they asked the Packers to do it and MM said no.
