Great news for Cruz and NY, I bet Nicks is unhappy about this though

Totally, he looks like a male version of Paris Hilton dressed in a Gene Kelly Halloween costume. I admire his cajones, but it almost makes you forget that he is a professional athlete.

Yea, why isn't the picture one of his big catches for the giants, like the TD in the super bowl? Then again, the OP is a Pats fan so I guess it's a sore topic. Laughing

Why would he be unhappy? I'd think he'd be glad. His negotiations could take place whenever Cruz signs his deal.

Im guessing Percy Harvin territory is what the market should dictate what Cruz receives. Whether he can get it from New York remains to be seen.

He's worth as much as Percy Harvin for sure, but he probably get less.

I think Cruz will get 8.25-9.25M
Worth more but I think thats what an agreement would look like.

I would agree that he almost assuredly is getting less. Cruz, for whatever reason, is seen as a slot receiver. Harvin is seen as a versatile explosive playmaker. Give me the choice, I think I'd take Cruz's consistency over Harvin, but GM's and the NFL don't really see it that way. I'd say he landed something like 8.5 per or so and I think Harvin got what, 11?

Obviously good for the Giants and Cruz, but most of all for the FANS. He is a fan favorite and they deserve it.
As far as Nicks, he is a goner next season. He's coming home to Carolina.
