| Dustin Fox stinks he was a product of the system and he only played because of Tressel's(I LOVE TRESSEL)loyalty to his veteren players...Fox should be moved to safety in the pros he doesnt have the hips to play corner.Your right he is fast and can hit but he will not be a starting corner in the NFL.Dont be like everyone else who loves players because they are from their teams,Isee it in here all the time. |

You must be an OSU fan if you cannot even support your team.... I hate Michigan but I like Marlin Jackson and David Baas... I dont just love players because they are from my team... What games has Dustin Fox choked in? I dont think I have seen him get burnt, he shuts down the slant the best I've ever seen.... Do you even watch football? How can you say that Dustin Fox sucks, when he shut down some of the best WR's in all of collegiate football... If you play in the Big Ten, and you excel, that should tell you something about his talent... I'm not saying that he's going to be a starter but he doesnt suck... |

| Look i gotta say what games have you been watching? Dustin doesnt shut anybody down he plays 12 yards off the ball and doesnt get beat deep too often but that is because of the Bucks entire defense he was a product of the system he will be a safety in the pros believe me.DONT EVER QUESTION MY LOVE FOR THE BUCKEYS THEY ARE MY ONE TRUE LOVE I HAVEN'T MISSED AN OSU GAME SINCE I WAS 8.....GO BUCKS!!!!!! |

| I wouldn't say that Fox stinks but I definitely wouldn't call him a shut down corner either. If he is available in the 4th round he'd probably be a pretty good value pick. |

Alright, let's calm down. We can have a discussion without getting mad.
First, everyone is a product of their system. The system at OSU happens to be one that blitzes a lot, putting corners on an island. I wouldn't go so far as to say he shut down players, but he never got punked. He played in the system well, knowing where to be and making tackles when needed.
He didn't start because of Tressel's loyalty to his veterans. Dustin was actually a Cooper recruit. He signed after Tressel came on, but Coop did the legwork. He didn't start off as a corner, but moved over from safety late his freshman year out of need. He stayed at corner as a starter from that point on because he was faster, tackled better, and played smarter than any other corner on the team.
Let's just say he is a "product of the system", meaning the only reason he made any plays at all is because the coaches knew his capabilities and used them to their potential. Well guess what? He would be coached by his position coach/co-defensive coordinator from last year. Mel Tucker might just know how to put a system in place to make him productive.
Again, I'm not saying he should be our starting cornerback. Just that he might be a good player to pick up in the fourth round. |

| I wasn't getting mad i probably should have added a lol to the end...and i know he was a Cooper recruit but that doesnt mean Tressel didnt have loyalty too him he did just like he showed loyalty to Krenzel Ross and others Tress likes to play the vets unless you are truly exceptional ala Clarrett and Ginn. Hell Ginn didn't even get his due till around the 6th or 7th game.TEDDY GINN FOR HEISMAN IN 05. |

Agreed. If he is used all three ways, there's no way he can't win it.
Ross got way too many caries with Pittman's explosiveness sitting on the bench.

| Definately like to see them address it in FA maybe Baxter if he's not too pricey Ilove the idea of weakening the Ravens while making yourself stronger but alas i don't see it happening I'm guessing they will draft Rolle if they keep the 3rd pick or they may try to get someone in round 2....Don't count out Lewis Sanders as a starter everyone has loved this guy for years but just like Courtney he couldnt stay healthy Romeo has had him B-4 and last year he finally did stay on the field. He's my darkhorse. |

Once I saw that I no longer felt bad about him leaving.
That is way too much money. I'm glad we didn't try to match that offer.
Baxter would be good, but I think we could get Renaldo Hill for a lot less. I know what you're thinking, he must suck because he was a Cardinal. All I know is when ESPN was talking about the new contact rules last preseason, they mentioned Ty Law and Renaldo Hill by name. He has a reputation as a physical corner, so he should fit into Romeo's defense just fine. |

| I would much rather fill the need in free-agency or later in the draft so renaldo would be fine by me.I just don't wanna waste the 3rd pick in the draft on a corner. What do you think about Lewis Sanders? He has aleays been talked about fondly around here but he couldnt stay healthy.Last year he stayed healthy do you think they may give him a shot? |

| Dustin Fox has shut down a few teams with great passing games such as Mich and Purdue, but your right, he hasnt done it on his own... Saying that D. Fox stinks is like saying Maurice Clarett didnt help us win a National Championship... Im not saying that he would be a starting corner, I'm just justifying him since you obviously dislike him... He obviously hasnt helped out our team in anyway... He never did anything right? If he stunk he would've been burnt on many plays and he wouldve missed corner blitzes, and he wouldve messed up coverage, but he never did any of those things.... Plus, he's been starting for 3 years... I guess if you start at OSU for 3 years, you must stink... Obviously Tressel didnt think he stunk... But your the coach right? |

| Lewis Sanders has a lot of potential. He is a physical corner, and he was here the season Romeo was the DC. He may just win the starting job, regardless of who we bring in. |

| I thought we we're done with this Fox thing.I don't in any way shape or form like Fox as a corner which i can tell you he won't be in the pros. That being said I do believe he has a chance to be a goos FS if he adds 10-15 pounds.Ithink i stated b-4 it is my opinion that he was a product of a system only time will tell but in my opinion he doesnt have the flexibility I.E. hip movement to make it as a corner. |
