Damn I was holding out hope it could be a lesser injury, but after viewing the pic I can't see it being anything but season ending.

seriously. I know there are always a lot of injuries this time of year, but it seems like a lot more.

Terrible.

Seemed like he was having a good camp too. Here's to hoping for just a dislocation and no torn ligaments.

Sucks for Keller. This is the ugly downside of one-year prove-it contracts.

Looked horrible. Only upside is that it happens so early in the season so he can recover before next year.

why not just ban all tackles, that would be the only way to eliminate ACL injuries if you actually think this is an issue. its part of the game, and I truly doubt that there is anything to suggest that these injuries are happening at an increasing rate to be concerned. it sucks, but this happens all the time. the Vikes havent had an ACL injury yet (knocks on wood). im sure a lot of other teams have been lucky as well.

Low tackles are unavoidable. hitting someone's knee in the act of tackling is also unavoidable. you cant ban low tackles, that would put defenses at a huge disadvantage. making a clean, perfect form tackle every time is really not possible given that defenders do wind up on the ground or get pushed around by blockers. A 190-200 pound DB is going to lose every time if he tries to form tackle a 260 pound TE, that is why DBs so often go low.

Antoine Winfield would have been out of the league along time ago. He has made a career taking out people's ankles.

The only hits I dont like are when defenders go low is when they go helmet first into the knee.

He was joking.

This looks bad for Keller. I hope he can come back next season for whichever team and still play at a high level.

I am sad... he was looking to have such good chemistry with Ryan Tannehill... I hope it's nothing serious in the end.
