From what I heard Baldwin said something about Charles and that's why they fought. Charles afterwards said something along the lines of "Jones got my back"

Anyways the locker room probably alienated him after that. A change of scenery might do wonders.

Baldwin looks like Tarzan plays like Jane. Guy was given every opportunity to succeed, including a starting spot to instill confidence, and was terrible

This was mostly cap moves for both teams I'm thinking. Chiefs needed the relief this year, Niners need it next and neither wanted to take the dead hit.

Jenkins looks like Jane, and plays like Jane. For his sake, I'm hoping that Reid can turn him around.

I haven't looked into the cap situation, but from early reports, I thought it was a wash. I believe only difference is that AJ has 3 years and Baldwin has 2.

Chiefs gain 300K in cap space this year iirc.

Aj Jenkins has got to be the worst first round pick ever in terms of production.

Oh definitely. That Skittle loving fellow in Oakland or that tree guy in San Diego were awesome in comparison.

I still think Baldwin has some potential.

My bad, I read it wrong. I read it as 2 picks, his fumbled reception, then 4 other incomplete passes. But your right, 4 incomplete passes(2 being picks) and his fumble does=5.

Either my math skills have taken a hit, or my football knowledge is rusty. God I hope it's the first one...I can live with being terrible at math, but football is my life.

A play to file away: On the opening weekend of camp, wide receiver A.J. Jenkins was involved in a play that perhaps illustrates a bigger problem.

Jenkins lined up in the left slot. A quick pass intended for him was deflected into the air. Jenkins still had a chance to go up and catch the pass -- or at the very least try to break it up. Instead, he stood just a few feet away and did not even attempt to make a play on the ball.

Twice in exhibition games and several other times on the practice field, Jenkins allowed defensive players to have unchallenged chances for interceptions. Maybe he lacks confidence. Maybe he lacks attitude. Maybe he's too passive.

It's a good thing that Baldwin is the poster child of great work ethic and always giving everything he has.....

I know a few Chiefs fans before the season felt this was going to be Baldwin's breakout year. Bust for a bust though.

Before last season, yes. That was when he looked incredibly impressive in camp, seemed to have his head on straight, and was getting some great work with Cassel. Even I had pretty high hopes then, actually. Then last season was more of the same from his rookie year. This offseason, he has even looked garbage in TC.

Can't say I know much about Baldwin's work ethic. I haven't followed the Chiefs closely until the Alex Smith trade.

For Baldwin's sake, he better buy in quick, or he won't last as long as AJ did.
