Video from @JayGlazer on @FFD just now shows Antonio Smith swinging a helmet at Richie Incognito during a game. Just missed his head.

Albert Haynesworth, Ndamukong Suh and whoever else has nothing on Smith. I've never seen anything like that.

Oh yeah, Antonio Smith is going to get fined/suspended for that helmet swing Glazer's show just had. Holy cow that was violent

Last season Smith received a $21,000 fine for kicking Richie Incognito, now this...

Richie Incognito must have knocked up his sister or something.
Jeez.

Yeah Ninja is going to get suspended at least 2 games for that. Hopefully it isn't more. We play the Chargers Week 1, and Titans Week 2. Wouldnt be that huge of a loss since we have depth at DE with Jamison and Crick.

I find it hard to believe the helmet swing was worse than Haynesworth stomping on someone's face....

We don't need thugs like this in the nfl. Throw the book at him, make him sit for a year and perhaps he will realize he has anger issues and needs help.

Hah GTFO.

Everyone knows Incognito is the dirtiest player in the NFL. Ninja did what every other DL has wanted to do to him. It was stupid and dirty, yes, but Smith isn't the only one in the wrong here.

Using his helmet as a weapon could be on par with Haynesworth stomping on Gurode's head, which sidelined him for five games.

Yeah, he was getting facemasked and maybe even hit in the throat/neck area. That would make anyone mad, but you've gotta keep your cool better than that.

Wait, didn't Richie Incognito actually do something similar to somebody a few years back? Laughing

Maybe I'm just foggy, but I feel like he had a helmet-related incident of some sort.

No its not an overreaction. Even if Incognito committed a penalty, that is no way comparable to taking a swing at someones head with a helmet. The damage that hit could have caused if it actually connected would be terrifying.

I see this as a desperate reaction to him being face masked and Icognito threw a right hand hook to the side of Smith's helmet. I see a fine but no suspension. I don't see that as being intentionally malicious but rather a natural, borderline violent, reaction.

Agreed. Someone as strong as he is swinging something as heavy and hard as a helmet could be incredibly damaging.
