Wow, how was that hit illegal, and fined worthy of $21,000? the only way they can explain it is if they say he used the crown of his helmet which I'm not 100% sure he did.

Completely legal hit, the fine system is just idiotic at this point. They are just fining any big hits now.

Now you know why people go low?

Was there even a flag on the play?

Bad job by the NFL on this one. Used his shoulder and didn't hit him in the head. No fine needed.

I don't agree with this at all. Nothing wrong with that one, that was a textbook hit.

The NFL is just trying to send a message to Bostic early on because they know he's a fierce hitter from his Florida days.

Stop trying to make this a sissy sport Goodell!

This honestly is teaching tape on how to tackle. Wrap up, helmet on football, lead with the shoulder, contact below the head. Honestly if there was anything wrong with that tackle, they need to remove tackling from the game. I wish he could appeal this fine, b/c there is no arbitrator on the planet that would view that as a dirty hit.

It looks like he may have lowered his head but this is stupid. Even if he did lower his head, he didn't make contact with the WR's head so what's the big deal?

It should only be an issue if he hit him with the crown of the helmet, although I'm not sure if he did.
