As @JohnTelich8 tweeted - speeding ticket is not a big deal; BUT April drag racing incident makes it relevant b/c its dangerous behavior

Browns statement:

“We’re aware of the situation involving the players and their unacceptable driving records. We take matters such as this very seriously. We’ve spoken to both individuals, and will address the issue with the entire team.”

2nd round picks on their 1st contract don't have all the money in the world, but they have enough to buy fast cars. You don't buy fast cars to drive slow, especially if you happen to be a male in your early 20s.

We all had a little Ricky Bobby in us at that age.

With the cars they have, I don't see nothing wrong with drag racing, who cares if they are speeding, I don't find speeding to be dangerous at all, as long as you are aren't driving like a maniac on busy streets then it's fine on highways and roads that aren't busy.

If they haven't spent any of their money, doubtful, they probably have a few hundred thousand. And I don't see how having a lot of money would motivate you stop drag racing.

Let me give you my personal opinion, on what I think has happened.
It all started with the release of the coke machine in Brandon Jacobs.

Compared to the average person they do have a lot of money. And Ricky Bobby aside, why not just do it in the deep country where you can't be arrested?

It only takes 1 car pulling onto a street, not expecting someone to be going 127mph to cause a tragedy. Who cares how busy the roads are?

Anybody else loving the fact that he was going 72 MPH OVER THE SPEED LIMIT

How the heck did he not go to jail (for at least a night) over that?

You don't see anything wrong with driving at an insanely high speed with other people on the road? The fact that a person can switch lanes and Gordon/Little not have time to react due to going much faster than they should and plow into that car, or even lose control of their own and flip?

Where do you live? I'll make sure to never drive there.

I would normally say meh, because I have a history of driving like a dumb [inappropriate/removed].

However

These are two guys with problems in the past, which makes this troubling to me.

Also, I guess just because I did it in the past, doesn't mean I should condone it.

It is still incredibly stupid and dangerous.

Grow up

I sure hope you live nowhere near me, my kids, or anyone else i care about. Going 10 over is one thing, 70 over...... reckless at best.
