Not a fan of Mariota. Rather get Morris in the 2nd and go defense in the 1st. Nix, Sutton, Roby, or Lynch would be great.

The Titans already have 2 really good young DTs and Mariota would be to good to pass on if they are picking that high. I had them taking Manziel but i think Mariota would get the nudge as the better prospect because of his height.

Jerry Jones still runs the team.

Yes and no. His son, Stephen along with Jason both have a larger input in personnel decisions which has accounted for the much stronger drafts over the last three years. Contrary to popular belief, Jerry doesn't just make his own decisions - he listens to those around him and then makes the final say.

Running back is not a need, and if the draft plays out the way you have listed...it isn't BPA either. Anthony Spencer is likely gone after this year as is Jason Hatcher. So either DE or DT make more sense from a personnel standpoint for Dallas to address in the first round.

Casey and who? Martin? Klug? Both Martin and Klug are nothing more than rotation guys. Plus I listed a DE in Lynch and a CB in Roby as well. Mariota is no better than Morris. I'll go defense(huge need) in the 1st and a QB just as good as Mariota in the 2nd.

Mike Martin was ranked as the 10th best pass rushing DT in the league last year by Pro Football Focus https://www.profootballfocus.com/blog/2013/01/15/2012-pff-all-rookie-team/2/ He has a very bright future ahead of him.

Morris gets really overrated by you forum folk, his a 2nd round QB right now.

Casey's a stud, but the other DT spot is occupied by a revolving door of role players- Sammie Lee Hill, Mike Martin, Karl Klug, and it looks like DE Lavar Edwards will spend some time at DT too. A really good impact DT would do wonders for our defense.

I wouldn't be opposed to Mariota though, so I don't take issue with that.

Which is why I said 2nd round.... Plus I'm not the only one who's been hyping him. Many experts have said he had the potential to be a first round pick.
