Scary stuff, once you've been infected can't it be a pretty tough process to get it out of your system?

@pulsedhalo: That infection is no joke. You need old school anti-biotics to get rid of it.

Man, hope they can contain it. I remember when multiple Browns had issues with staph around that time. Hope Carl Nicks doesn't have the same issues that LeCharles Bentley had...

I've had MRSA twice. It's not exactly the most fun thing in the world, and yes, it's tough to get rid of. It's resistant to more common treatments, so they usually use some stuff that's especially hard on your stomach to combat it.

Man, I love Carl Nicks but this signing is quickly turning into a huge bust. He could be heading down the LeCharles Bentley route, unfortunately.

I saw it being a contract bust from day 1 because of his work ethic issues. I wouldn't have cared and would've laughed at all the people who called Saints fans "haters" when we brought up these issues when he left.

I didn't want things to go this way though, never want to see someone struggle through all these injuries and crap. I just feel bad for him and the Bucs now.

Ugh. I've had it unfortunately. Aside from being generally gross, it's ridiculously painful in all stages. The antibiotic regimen is pretty nasty as well.

Oh boy. Put a bubble around nicks. I remember this a few years ago. It only affects good players
