Yeah I noticed that as well. Laughing

I am curious if they have inquired about Kendricks though. McDaniels was the one pounding the table to get him drafted here in STL. He knows McDaniel's scheme, he's young, cheap, in a contract year, and versatile. He has upside that just won't be reached here.

I wouldn't expect anything close to a 2nd round pick in return for a guy who will have little impact for us and has no future plans with us. A conditional day three pick would be fine with me. He is by no means garbage to the Rams, but with Harkey and McNeil, he is also expendable.

1 Tom Brady... at least.

Either that or a 3rd-4th round pick.

A third or fourth for Celek? That is just dumb I am sorry. Celek has more value as a backup, which he's not, then for a mid round pick. I like Clqy Harbor, and see no reason we can't keep 4 good tight ends when we use them instead of fullbacks, we split them wide a lot and our WRs are going down like flies if we trade Celek and then say Desean gets hurt then our starting skill players are:

1.Riley Cooper, who has a target on his back
2.Role player Damaris Johnson
3.a runningback
4.James Casey
5.A rookie TE

If Celek got any more than a 4th I'd be shocked.

Sudfeld is on my fantasy team.

Don't trade for a guy

The problem is that Celek's value to the Eagles is greater than a 4th. I don't think Celek gets traded, because our TE depth chart looks like this:

Y-TE: Brent Celek, Clay Harbor, Emil Igwenagu
F-TE: James Casey, Zach Ertz, Derek Carrier

So if we trade Celek, we now have Harbor (who has some athleticism and talent but very little production) as one of our starting TEs. Trading Celek wouldn't make much sense from the Eagles' perspective unless they either get a starter in the trade or if they like Harbor more than anyone thinks they do.

If the Patriots want Harbor, and it's questionable whether they do, I think he'd be worth maybe a conditional 6th.

In The hoodies tenure with the Patriots their has been very few times he has given up draft picks during training camp for a player. He has a massive ego and loves to pick up the scraps from other teams and try to make them players. I just can't see him giving up draft picks for a TE, he values those 2nd thru 5th picks and loves to stockpile them.

Well, if they are seriously "looking" at Clay Harbor then it's not surprising.

We drafted him in the fourth, he is on his rookie deal and he is decent so a fiifth would be retarded let alone your lowball answer. Why Harbor is so hated I will never understand

He's now on the final year of his rookie deal, not with 4-years on it... that's a huge difference. #JustSaying

Most player trades [decent-to-good players that is] happen when a player is on the final year of his contract because the team who has him rather get value now than probably pay him a lot later, that's why a player like Santonio Holmes who was a Superbowl MVP and a 1,000 yard receiver just a year before his trade was traded for a 5th [well, in his case there was also legal issues] but in genreal that's why a lot of player trades, even for good players don't usually net a lot in terms of picks, because the contract only has one year left on it.

If last night is any indication, what they really need is a blocker. Fells is hurt, Hoomanawanui is too inconsistent, Gronk really doesn't need that much of a beating even once he is back, Sudfeld needs at least a year to bulk up before he has any chance of pushing NFL defenders around, and most disappointingly, it seems that Ballard's knee has not only made him even less of a receiver (as expected), but really hurt his ability to block too.

So my guess that is that takes a guy like Clay Harbor or Fred Davis out of the equation.
