I honestly have no clue what direction Caldwell would go in

At first it was Boyd and Ealy but then I thought Gabbert might play good enough to get 1 more year and the current LB corps isn't anything special

I like the first round picks, but I'm not sure what to think about Bradford in the second. I'm not saying it's a bad pick because if the top guards are all off the board, we probably go either OLB or 3 tech DT there. Easley has looked really good this year, so maybe him, but I really don't know.

Too high for Murphy and I don't think he'd fit the scheme. Easley in the 1st and Perryman in the 2nd would be amazing.

didn't even hesitate

Nix would be a great building block for that D

Hayden, Moore, Nix give you guys 3 guys to build around on Defense and then in the 2nd getting a big physical WR like Coleman is a pretty nice get

The Bears aren’t going to spend back to back top 20 picks on guards…with the way your board is sitting Aaron Lynch, Louchiez Purifoy or Anthony Johnson would be better picks…again in last year’s draft we spent a 2nd round pick on a MLB so I can’t see us taking Johnson…De'Anthony Thomas would be the clear pick in round 2 given what Trestman could do with him.

Why Ed Stinson? We are deep at DL and are fine at OLB.

I personally thought continuing to establish the O-Line would be a priority and figured adding another linebacker would be intriguing

transition to the 3-4 and Stinson is a prototypical 3-4 End

I also considered C.J. Fiedorowicz for you guys

I mentioned on another mock that if the OTs for the Steelers stink then Matthews would be a terrific pick. I want to see what they can do this year. They are still young and have potential. However, they do have question marks and selecting Matthews would solve that problem.

I like the position taken in the second round. TE would be another possibility. Would have like to take Coleman who went two picks earlier or another Matthews in Jordan from Vandy.

We made establishing the Oline a priority last season going out and getting 4 new starters…the only Oline position we still need is centre and there isn’t one in this draft worth taking in round one…so defensive should be the way forward in round one to replace some of our older guys…in round two a LB is also a need but Johnson will only play inside and Bostic seems to have that locked down for the future…so adding a speed element to our skill position group would make us even more dangerous.
