Could live with this draft for the Rams. Not sure what the situation will be at OLB next year but it's likely that DT would be a better fill there with Nix. Fisher likes Dunbarr and having drafted Ogletree, who's having a very solid rookie season so far, it might not be a position of need at all. But somebody to fill up the middle along side Brockers would be. Langford is nothing more than a stop gap and iirc he's a free agent after the season. Dunbar is also. As of right now I'd say OT, FS, OG, DT and a QB to develop would be the top priorities for the Rams.

Replace the TE with another D-lineman in the second and you have the perfect Atlanta draft. I would be ecstatic if we could get Hurst in the third.

I think this is a perfect Jets draft.

Love the 1st pick. Not a fan of the 2nd pick. Locker has looked very good early on before the injury. Perryman or Purifoy should be the pick.

If the Cards are in that spot and they pass on both Lewan and Mack (Lewan especially) I would not be able to sleep at night. Even if we are getting the franchise QB. Lewan and Mack's value both overweigh Mettenbergers IMHO

QB is the position if there is a fit and he is a need you take, I don't care about the others around him, and Mett is that fit in that system. And you still get said positions, just not at the level of Mack, Lewan is overrated and a RT so that's moot.

Fair enough, I'm going to ignore the comments on Lewan (I've been watching a lot of left tackle film lately as a result of me being depressed over how bad our tackles are) Lewan is just my favorite Left tackle in this draft.

But anyway I'm getting off track, I understand the "If you have the chance to get a franchise QB you take it" strategy. My draft strategy is more the top 5 or so needs, take the best player from those needs. Lewan and Mack are my top 2 there on the board. And I'm not 100% sold on Mettenberger either. (Maybe I'm a hater) I like Mettenberger but right now I'm not spending a 1st rounder on him. I wouldn't absolutely hate the pick, like throwing stuff at the walls hate. But I definetely wouldn't like it. He's more in my second round range right now

But I do love the Breslin pick. I just have a really hard time seeing us not going LT in the first two rounds.

If you would have given us Yankey instead of Zimmerman in the 3rd i'd have given this draft a A+ for the Saints but now you only get a B- Laughing

I really like the Bradley Roby at 9 and Jackson Jeffcoat in the 3rd but not sure about C.J Fiedorowitz. I'd hope we would reinforce the OLine with maybe Kouandijo or Cyril Richardson.

Maybe I'm just dumb, but... uh... who is Blake Bortles?

Give the Browns Zach Mettenberger, please.

NT over WR in round three. Otherwise I like the picks, I think Mariotta will be good for the new offensive coordinator (and possibly head coach), and I like the OG and LB picks. But NT needs to be addressed in the worst way.

I like Van Noy but I am not sure where he would fit on the Saints defense. The Saints are currently running a 4-2-5 base defense with sprinkles of 4-4 Bear and 3-4 under.

I don't think that he is big or strong enough to play SOLB in any of our schemes, and we don't have a huge need at WOLB. So the question is can he play WILB? If he can...then maybe he could fit...but if not then we would probably be better off with someone else.
