With Nick Foles being the best young qb in the NFL so far this year in his limited time. I would lean Mack for us in the first.

That will fill most of the Browns needs, although i do not know if Aaron Murray would be that much of an improvement over Hoyer to justify taking him in the 3rd over someone like Garoppolo later on.

Not bad for the Chargers. As I commented on another mock, at this point Mack and Beasley as WOLB's are kind of a coin-flip until I see more of each against better competition. There's reasons to like both and reasons to have hesitations about both.

In the 2nd, I like Fuller, but - in part because he fits a very specific style of defensive coverage which our current DC doesn't deploy regularly - he's not a great fit for us... and our front office has invested a draft pick in Steve Williams and a decent-sized contract in Derek Cox, so I get the feeling they may hold off on spending premium picks on the CB position until they see how those guys handle themselves with a legitimate pass-rusher first. Grasu or Su'a-Filo are who would likely be quality pick-ups there as our interior line has a lot of question marks, be they free agency (Chad Rinehart is on a 1-year deal), age (Nick Hardwick will be 33 next season and likely hangs them up when his current contract expires), or just plain poor quality (Jeromey friggin' Clary). Both those interior OL fit the big, athletic dancing bear mold that Joe D'Alessandris covets.

Hurst in the 3rd is a good value pickup that I wouldn't argue with. I've been starting to question his athleticism of late, but unless they're raw as hell you don't find big time athleticism at the tackle position outside the 2nd round. Could see E.J. Gaines (current coverage scheme fit) or Aaron Colvin (fair, not great scheme fit, more a CB/S tweener; but better value) if we do look corner. Could even see Ahmad Dixon if they decide to move on from Brandon Taylor, which would be a shame - but the guy still hasn't seen the gameday field this season yet. Maybe even Sims or Grice if Mathews doesn't maintain the productivity he's had over the past two games over the rest of this season - coaching staff still hasn't shown a ton of trust in him.

For the Vikings, ILB is a bigger need than OLB, so I would prefer Christian Jones to Van Noy. Guard is a good position for the Vikings in the third, I just have a preference for the UCLA kid over Long.

Pacman, Mettenberger is a guy who fits very well what BA wants to do. It is very possible.

However, if this is my draft I take Erving in one and Bortles in 2.

He is Carson Palmer 2.0!!! He has such a bad pocket presence. How the hell is he going to succeed behind the Cards O-line? He's a statue in the pocket and doesn't even step into his throws.

He also isn't even worthy of a first round pick let alone 15th overall. Dude is garabage...

Tamps's 3rd rounder belongs to the Jets through the Revis trade.

Id rather go Seantrel Henderson in round two. Depending on if Glennon pans out.

Overall a good Vikings draft, addressing positions of need well.
