If you hear a loud banging noise out in the distance, do not be alarmed, that's just me slamming my head against a wall.

I'm still a Flynn fan and all, but that arm's just not gonna cut it in BUF come winter.

It's just a precaution IMO, Thad Lewis showed enough to be a adequate QB2 behind Manuel.

If Thad turns out to be ok enough to play, Flynn is going to get Flynn'd again. Thad was decent enough on Sunday. Wildly inaccurate throwing the ball, but he's got legs and he's not afraid to use them. Great deep ball though.

Odd signing if it happens, since Thad Lewis looked good last Sunday and his X-Rays came back negative.

Does this mean EJ Manuel will be out for longer than expected? If so this somewhat makes sense since they need a decent backup for Lewis.

They were bringing in Flynn before Thad's injury. If Manuel is out 6-7 weeks we need at least a chance in case Lewis bombed or got hurt

This just speaks about how the organization feels about Jeff Tuel ever starting again Laughing

Should we just start a "Flynn out with (insert injury here)" thread for next week to save time?

Bills signed QB Matt Flynn.
He's the latest quarterback insurance policy for a team that would prefer to be starting first-round pick E.J. Manuel (knee). Current fill-in Thad Lewis is dealing with a "mild" foot sprain, but is tentatively expected to be ready for Sunday's game against the Dolphins. If Lewis can't go, it would likely be Flynn who gets the call, and not overwhelmed UDFA Jeff Tuel. There wouldn't be a worse fantasy quarterback play for Week 7 if Flynn gets the call. Rotoworld reports that he's signed, but terms are undisclosed.
