Quote:
Murray suffered a left MCL sprain, and Ware strained his right quadriceps, coach Jason Garrett announced after the game.

Both players are scheduled to undergo MRIs on Monday.

"We'll have to see on both of them. I did talk to DeMarcus and he seemed optimistic he could be out there," owner Jerry Jones said after the game. "We thought DeMarco would be back out there but decided against it."

Nothing new here... Murry is injured again and its going to hurt the Cowboys offense. The Cowboys should just draft a RB cause Murry is always going to get hurt.

Honest to god, I hit "accept trade" in one of my fantasy leagues in which I'm receiving Murray and almost immediately I hear that he has left the game with a knee injury.

We did. He is going to be the guy that your defense puts on the map here in a few days. Wink

Some peoples bodies are just not meant for the game of football, and DeMarco is one of those people. It's truly sad to see the guy hurt and on the sideline so often, has immense talent.

Quote:
"I am preparing like I am playing this week, the way I'm preparing mentally in the classroom, physically on the field," Murray said after Wednesday's practice. "I am running, doing some good things with [trainer] Britt [Brown]. We haven't said which way, what we're going to do yet. I think it all depends on how comfortable I am. We were able to do some things today and it felt good."

Cowboys owner/general manager Jerry Jones said it's possible Murray could miss Sunday's game and return the following week when the Cowboys visit the Detroit Lions.

"I don't know what's been said," Murray said when told about Jones'comments. "But my intentions are to just work hard and possible do everything I can to play this week. Is that going to happen? I don't know. I am not saying one way or another. But we had a good day (Wednesday) and I am going to continue to do what the trainers tell me to do. We'll see what happens later in the week."

The typical recovery time for an MCL sprain is about 2 weeks. But in Murray's case...triple it. I will call it now...Murray will be back week 12.

He's just made of glass. He gets hurt if you give him a dirty look.

It's too bad too. He looked like he'd be a good one.

I really wonder how good Murray could have been. He had five TD's in his 1st game at Oklahoma. He was an excellent return man, receiver outta the back field and he had 4.3 speed at about 200 lbs. Some actually questioned if he would be better than A. Peterson, but I think he has only played one complete season since he was a freshman in college.
