First round pick is good. The Bengals have ZERO need for a DT in 2.

DE. SLB, or big WR would be better picks.

terrible draft for the Cardinals. A tight end in the first round is a joke. Either give them an OT or Tajh Boyd. I think Arians would like Boyd a lot.

Pass on Barr and take Lewan. Honestly don't know much about Huff.

Please pass on Barr. The Rams will regret it Wink

Kyle Van Noy is an interesting pick; right position for sure, possibly wrong player but it really depends on perspective and how he shows at the combine. The Chargers need edge-rush in the worst way, but we specifically need it on the weak side and someone that has the kind of athleticism and upside to be a consistent 8-10 sack guy on that weak side not necessarily as a rookie but as a sophomore and moving forward. Van Noy may be more of strong-side player, versus say Khalil Mack or Aaron Lynch, but he's also someone who I could see our coaching staff taking a definite shine to in the same way they took a shine to Te'o.

Shazier in the 2nd round doesn't make a lot of sense though - even if we do lose Donald Butler to free agency, which isn't likely, Shazier doesn't have a skill-set that projects terribly well to playing ILB in a 3-4. Stork (our OL coach values big, athletic guys - so I'd wager Stork is higher on his preference than Swanson) who could replace Jeromey Clary at RG as a rookie and kick over to center to eventually succeed Nick Hardwick, Darqueze Dennard if we continue to run this blasted heavy-cushion Cover-1 zone scheme in the secondary (Kyle Fuller if we don't, and manage to get a DC in that decides to play more press-man), and I could even see Melvin Gordon being looked at as a replacement for Ryan Mathews unless Mathews finishes this season with a performance worthy of gaining our coaching staff's confidence (which he's yet to do) - all are better combinations of value-meeting-need in the 2nd.

I'm okay with a TE just not Ebron. Too inconsistent of hands. I like ASJ much better.

Why do you think Arians would like Boyd?

Carolina used their first and second round picks on DT's in this years draft. We would probably be looking at help on the offensive line or in the secondary in the second round.

I just dont see the point in drafting a TE when we have an incapable QB and bad O-line. So many more important holes to fix. I could really care less about a tight end tbh.

I think Arians would like Boyd because he throws a hell of a deep ball. Just a hunch I have but Tajh is capable of making all of the throws and could definitely work in Arians' scheme.

My 3 things that could be improved (but don't get me wrong this is a good mock)

1. I can't see Houston passing on a QB with both Mariota and Boyd still on the board

2. I think the Falcons would rather have Jake Matthews than Taylor Lewan, because I think right tackle is a bigger need and Matthews has proven himself on the right, but he can also play left if we finally get rid of Sam Baker

3. I don't think the Eagles go QB. Either Foles or Barkley will likely be the future. They probably go corner

Doubt the Panthers take any DTs early this draft considering both 1st and 2nd round picks from last year were DTs, maybe in a later round though.

First round pick is spot on, give us James Hurst in the 2nd and we're golden.

I wouldn't want a depth player with our first pick.

Minnesota is set at tackle. If we go offensive line it'll be for a guard.

We need to fill our gaping hole at OLB and CJ Mosely is still on the board..

This is a really bad draft for the 9ers. We have the best OL in the league and we draft a guard and a tackle in rounds 1 and 2?

Much bigger needs are a WR that can stretch the field, a CB (Purifoy would be my pick there given he's still available), a pass rusher (I'm operating under the assumption that Aldon never plays another snap with the niners) and a replacement for Donte Whitner.
