As expected, wide receiver Percy Harvin will return to practice this week for the Seattle Seahawks, the team announced Monday.

EDIT: Sorry for the bad link, it was from a mobile device.

Quote:
Wide receiver Percy Harvin is returning to practice for the Seattle Seahawks after missing the first seven weeks of the regular season following hip surgery.

After getting hip surgery in the beginning of August, Harvins season looked to be in jeopardy. Best case scenario seemed to be week 13 vs the Saints on MNF until a tweet by Harvin a few weeks ago stated he was abeam of schedule.

Seahawks are expecting to field the player they traded multiple high draft picks for and paid over 60 million dollars in the next few weeks. Harvin remains on the PUP list for now.

If he wasn't being carried by someone through the first 6+ weeks of the year, people are slippin.

If people thought Seattle was hard to beat before, just wait until Percy comes in and starts running the slot and the Hawks can run 4 WR formations on everyone.

No that's just being optimistic, I love the way the Hawks' offense is playing right now with their 3 WR's and Zach Miller, and Harvin returning means Doug Baldwin or someone will see less playing time, and I'm not a fan of that because Baldwin has been straight money this year.

But either way, I think it will improve their offense.

NFC West getting healthy. This could be a scary time for the rest of the NFL. The seahawks and 49ers at full health will be a nightmare for anyone playing them.

This is really exciting, but I'm anticipating both our starting OT's coming back even more. I would think Kearse is probably going to take a dip in snaps, but he's been really solid too. Baldwin & Tate have been $$$$.

To echo everyone else here, this is great news. Hopefully he can stay healthy throughout the rest of the season, because his presence alone on a field opens things up for other players.

Bevell will finally have an outlet for his screen fetish Laughing

So excited, always great to see a player recover from injury so well. Seeing him on the field as a Seahawks in front of these fans, he such a player to watch. Plus have him stashed in two leagues.

To annoy you.

I picked him up too. Razz

This is good for the Seahawks. Give them some reinforcements down the stretch and inject some more energy into the offense. Not that they needed it, but it can only help.
