Orlovsky has too much experience here. Manziel doesn't stand a chance.

Don't feel like reading 25 pages so maybe someone can help me...who are the leading candidates? And this +Vikings are the last teams without a HC, right?

Adam Gase for the Browns job looks like. Yes the Vikings and Browns are the last ones.

Adam Gase I believe is the top candidate for the Browns HC position. But they are waiting on the Broncos to get eliminated or win the SB.

For the Vikings, Zimmer is the leading candidate at the moment. But they may be waiting on Roman or Bevell...

And my guess is that Munchack and Schwartz were interviewed to be his coordinators.

But then they get a sniff that their next favourite HC candidate might be available, so out goes Chud. Serves them right that McDaniels said no (though that will probably end up working out better for the organisation).

Actually I don't believe McDaniels was the 1st choice. The 1st name I heard from a reliable source (especially concerning the Browns front office) was Gase. I believe he was the 1st choice and remains the 1st choice.

It was SPECULATED by the media (shocker, I know) that McDaniels was the 1st choice because he and Lomfarti are tight.

I think this would be the best case scenario. If Gase is hired I really don't care who the O-coordinator is, but they better danged well hire a proven d-coordinator.

Same here. I believe Gase has and still is their top choice. Although I hope Dan Quinn is a strong possibility.

I didn't watch much of the Browns last year. Was Chud really that bad that a guy like Munchak is an improvement? I don't get it. Why was he fired already if you don't have a plan of getting someone better. You don't fire someone after their first year for the sake of it, just because he wasn't your guy or whatever, when you don't have a guy yourself to bring in.

no he actually had quite a few likable qualities as a coach, if the FO is to believe it's because the team regressed the second half of the season rather than improved. Banner/Haslem are either very impatient men or there was something else behind the scenes going on.

Someone will. I still think the Munchak-Schwartz rumors were tied into this

Makes sense. I wonder how Horton would do coaching a 4-3 or if the Titans would switch to the 3-4.
