Everyone saw this coming. Anyone know who the Vikings are rumored to be interested in?

#Vikings statement on HC Leslie Frazier:

“We have tremendous respect and appreciation for Leslie and what he has done for the Minnesota Vikings,” said owner Zygi Wilf. “He stepped in and established a strong positive culture here and he has been the consummate professional as our head coach and in this community. Making this change is difficult, but what we determined is best for the organization.”

“Unfortunately, we did not achieve consistent success and did not achieve the progress we expected,” said Vikings General Manager Rick Spielman. “We believe a coaching change is needed to help build a successful team moving forward.”

Vikings announce they are letting go of coach Leslie Frazier, as expected. Reported weeks ago they had reached out to Bill O'Brien

Hopefully they can get a Offensive minded guy.

Also, Frazier looks like Gus Fring a little bit.

Only one place Bill O'Brien is going and that's the place that can draft a elite QB.

Yay.

Frazier has neither the overall strategic ability, or demeanor to be a head coach in the NFL. He's not smart, and he's a pushover. It always seems like the veterans like him too much. Probably because he seems legitimately afraid of benching a mediocre veteran for a talented rookie until it's too late.

He does a little bit, I wonder what Frazier has going on in his spare time.

Great news for Vikings fans! I want Greg roman as head coach.

Love frasier as a guy and a human being. not as a coach.

A lot of your key players dropped off and your offense did your defense no favors.

"great" might have been an exageration though.

He was mediocre as a DC with some very good talent, and poor as a HC with mediocre talent.

He should feel very grateful if he finds another job int he NFL.

Read somewhere that Frazier is likely going to follow Lovie Smith if he gets a job.

wellll... our offense had the lead late in five games that the defense surrendered enough points, often in the final minute, to lose four games and allow a tie in another.

with the Packers winning the division with just eight wins, we could have been a contender if our D had held on.

yes our offense was mediocre this year, but our defense was much worse. and supposedly Frazier is a defensive minded coach.
