I hope for their sake that they keep Musgrave. What he was doing with Patterson at the end of the year was master class.

Cordarrelle Patterson had a two-touchdown game in Sunday’s win over the Lions and became the first player in NFL history to have four receiving touchdowns, three rushing touchdowns and two kickoff-return touchdowns.

Patterson also became the first player in NFL history to have a 100-yard kickoff-return touchdown, 75-yard receiving touchdown and 50-yard rushing touchdown in a season. Patterson had a whopping 2,020 all-purpose yards in his rookie year.

Really disliked Musgrave at first. He started to win me over towards the end of the season, and made our offense one of the better ones in the league with no QB

Don't like this.

Frazier was completely sold on Russell Wilson, wanted him badly, banged the table for him but was overruled and forced to stick with Ponder.

Now he gets fired, in large part, due to inept QB play.

Where did you hear all if this? If anything Spielman would have been supportive of a qb change given how it was Spielman that pressured Frazier into benching ponder for freeman.

where did you read this, have any credible source? or the memory of where you saw it? because i follow Viking news on a daily basis, as most FF fans follow their home teams, and i've never seen this once. not even a rumor of it. nor is Frazier a demanding, table banging kind of guy.

the qb we do know that Frazier pushed hard for was Donovan McNabb. oh yeah, that worked out reeeeal well.

Y'know, soon as I posted that I scrambled to try to find where I first read it knowing that I shouldn't put that out without citation. My bad. Feel free to disregard.

Musgrave definitely won I, and many Vikings fans, over after the last few games. Maybe he'll get promoted to HC. Who knows. But he learned how to get the most out of a Matt Cassell led, Adrian Peterson-less team.

err... our defense was 32nd in the league this year.
A lot of your key players dropped off and your offense did your defense no favors.

"great" might have been an exageration though.

No one can put all the blame on Frazier for the failures of our defense. He refused to bench Josh Robinson for Xavier Rhodes, when Rhodes was far outplaying Robinson by a mile, and Robinson looked like the worst CB in the league out there. Don't even get me started on the QBs...

I really like Frazier as a person, but he wasn't HC material in the slightest. I hope someone hires him. He's a good fit at DC, but thats about it.

Loved Cordarrelle Patterson coming into last years draft, really jelly the Vikings picked him up wouldn't of been mad at all if the Pack took him with our first rounder.

I would instantly be disappointed and dissatisfied with that decision. We need some fresh blood in Valhalla. I want a coach who thinks differently for once.
