ESPN NFC North blogger Pat Yasinskas is "hearing" the Bucs will hire Rod Marinelli as defensive coordinator.

Guys who cover Dallas say this is speculation, and not fact. They don't expect Jerry to allow the move.

Would be sad to see him go. Guy is the truth. Only reason Kiffin was bearable.

our pass rush has been down right terrible from our dline since he's left. He would be a god send for Gerald McCoy. PLEASE let this happen.

Sad

Fine. We get Lavonte David then. Oh, and you also get Kiffin.

No kiffin hasnt been the same since he quit on the bucs in 2008. His whole mentality changed before that MNF game against Carolina. He's been a laughing stock since then

There is nothing that Jerry Jones can do unless he promotes Marinelli to asst. head coach. Otherwise, Marinelli is free to accept a promotion as asst. head coach/DC of Tampa if he so chooses.

Tbh. I'm calling Rod M. to be promoted to be our DC. The man can coach and thats all and more he has proved to me since he got here. Our D-line had 40 different players and he still managed to put a decent product out there. Criticize Jerry all you wan't but when he sees someone perform here in dallas, he's keeping em.

Wrong. The rules were changed. Only a HC job cannot be blocked. All other "promotions" are block-able.

DL coach is under contract till 2014. If he goes it's because Jones allowed. Just asked sources and they said they don't believe that's case

If the Bucs can somehow draft Clowney to team up with McCoy with Lovie and Marinelli coaching them.... Shocked

If I were Marinelli, I'd quit. Dallas fired the only reason why he came there.

I see, did not realize that. I am not sure that is best for the league to inhibit promotion opportunities.

Former Cal coach Jeff Tedford will be Lovie Smith's OC, and Rod Marinelli will be the Bucs' defensive coordinator, ESPN is reporting.
