It's definitely egregious. Should have been Forte, regardless of what obscure stats say Lacy was better.

That is a pro-bowl-esque joke.
Idk where you got the idea I was talking about Forte. Lacy over Forte is a terrible mistake. Said so multiple times in this thread so maybe try reading. I was specifically talking about Lacy over Lynch.

Which still isnt a great argument. Rodgers being out doesnt matter, unless you want to ding Lacy for having him when he plays and every year going forward. Seattle is run first and pretty much everyone knows that, they face a stacked box often. Lacy being too injured too help his team should not and is not a valid argument on why he had a better season.

You would too if your top defensive player anchoring a top 5 run D didn't make the pro bowl or 1st team all pro. Outside of tackles, his numbers were nearly identical to JJ Watt's. If he was a DT as they consider him, he should be on 1st team over Suh.

Are you saying Wilkerson was as good as Watt this year? Please tell me you aren't.

over forte i agree

lynch? nah

Mind explaining that? Lynch has more rushing yards, receiving yards, rushing TDs, receiving TDs, YPC, and he hasn't missed a game to injury all year.
Lacy had 102.5 scrimmage yards per game. Lynch had 98.3 scrimmage yards per game. Lacy had 0.78 TD's per game. Lynch had 0.87 TD's per game. Lacy had a YPC of 4.15 while Lynch had a YPC of 4.18. Lacy had only 1 fumble all year while Lynch had 4. Didn't count Lacy's game against Washington as a game played since he was knocked out by a cheap shot very early and only got in one carry. His YFS average would drop to 101.8 if we subtracted that one carry.

So Lacy had more scrimmage yards per game, and less fumbles while Lynch had more TD's and a slightly better YPC. Their numbers are very close. Then you factor in that Lacy played without his starting QB for almost half the season and it's definitely not egregious to have Lacy in over Lynch. It's not 2012.

I never said it was egregious. Not sure where you got that from. I was responding to the poster before me who pretty much dismissed the idea of Lynch being more deserving than Lacy. You didn't do anything to rid me of those doubts.

Everyone knows Forte is better then Lacy. If some dumb journalist has a hard on for the Packers and wanted to get Lacy on there, whatever who cares. Everyone in the NFL community knows who is better. I just hope this doesn't turn into what the Pro-Bowl has become.

Yeah, people voted for the story, not who was better. Sucks for Forte for sure

Yeah. Lucy you got splainin to do

Cause Lacy had garbage at qb half the year and had missed 2 games, so the quantity total argument is irrelevant. Lacy lead the league in yards from contact and didn't have the luxury on playing with the best team in football this year.

I'm not sure what the team has to do with who deserves an All-Pro. I watched several Packers games and (obviously) every Seattle game and I can confidently tell you Green Bay is better at run blocking. That's all that matters as far as RBs are concerned.

It's nice to see Calvin Johnson and Suh on this list, although it's not a huge surprise. Hopefully the Lions can continue to develop and move forward as a franchise and see the number of players on this list grow.

Peyton Manning being the only QB on the list is a testament to how amazing he's been this year.

How did Eddie Lacy make the second team? What?

It's truly mind boggling. Johnny Hekker deserved to be an unanimous 1st team All Pro imo.

He wouldn't get voted over Suh. Despite lack of sacks, Suh had his best season yet pressure wise on the QB. And for what it's worth, Lions run D was 6th in the league this season, Suh being the main reason.

I honestly thought Warford and Levy had a chance (although I know 4-3 OLB don't get love because they don't get sacks).

I think All Pro is much more impactful than the Pro Bowl. Not making the Pro Bowl but getting All Pro nominations shouldn't make ANYONE mad at all. Only the best of the best make All Pro.
