Vrabel always seemed like one of those players that could coach one day. I wouldnt be surprised to see him move through the coaching ranks like Jack Del Rio was able to do.

Thats all he did was catch touchdowns. Why again is he the Linebackers coach?

This hurts OSU so it makes me giggle. Other than that I'm apathetic.

I havent seen OSU minus the Orange Bowl game, but OSU fans said their D has been horrible since Vrabel has been LB coach. I still like the hire though. He is familiar with O'Brien and when he played, he played with energy. He will be a nice addition to the coaching staff. Maybe he can do something with the starter at ILB opposite Cushing, whoever it ends up being if we still run the 3/4.

I remember people saying he would coach one day...now we find out how accurate those predictions were.

Seems like the type of guy that would fall into a position like this 1 day. Be interesting to see how far he goes as a position coach in the NFL.

He was a fantastic recruiter, and he seemed like a very solid coach. The buckeyes issues are all in the db area, which he had no hand in.

So we're now up to 5 coaches for the Texans (ranging from confirmed to rumored), all with New England connections. Who's next?

He must be one of the Steeler fans that are still upset that we took him away from the Steelers, or he doesn't know that MV has been coaching LB's and the DL at OSU for the past 3 years.

Good hire by B.O.B.

He should be their goal line TEs coach too Wink

10 catches for 14 yards and 10 TDs. His YAC is terrible.
