WTF is Morten Andersen doing on that list. Confused

Derrick Brooks to me is the most obvious.

Strahan probably would've been first ballot if that class wasn't so strong.

Don't know why Shields isn't in yet.

I hope Charles Haley finally gets in this year.

To me Walter Jones is just as obvious as Brooks.
My guess is Brooks, Jones, Strahan, Reed and Haley. Although I think Reed, Bettis and Tim Brown are interchangeable as options.

I can't speak on him because I never saw him play. But I listen to all these former players say he was the guy on all these great teams that they game planned around. And then it makes me sick when I hear that the media is probably holding a grudge against him and thats why he gets snubbed every year. Really stupid how much power writers have.

I think Strahan, Walter Jones, and Derrick Brooks are locks this year as they should be.

My final 2 would be Shields and Greene.

I think the final 2 will be Reed and Haley

Ream me all you want over it, but the fact that Jerome Bettis (and I say this as someone that used to watch him play live when he was a Ram) could get into the Hall before Don Coryell is pretty sickening.

Passing up a guy who might have an argument for GOAT at offensive tackle for Reed or Brown?

It's a shame that Coryell will continually get snubbed. I know he didn't win a SB, but his impact on the game is absolutely undeniable.

Reed should get in, he's been snubbed enough times, but if it comes down to Walter Jones and him, Walter Jones should be the one getting in.

That said it'd be a damn shame if the backlog kept him from getting in another year.

As long as Bettis and Reed don't get in the voters have done their job.

It's less the not winning the Super Bowl and more the only winning 3 playoff games his entire tenure (though watch Marty get in at some point... Confused ). But consider the fact that Coryell's QB (Fouts), leading receiver (Joiner), and TE (Winslow) are all in the Hall, as well as one of Coryell's former OC's (Joe Gibbs) and yet Coach can't get in because "he didn't achieve enough..."

I'm still just waiting for the day in the far off future where maybe Chuck Howley finally gets in as a senior candidate.
