Nice hire for the Vikes. It's been long deserved for Zimmer.

One candidate Vikings HC Mike Zimmer is considering as his offensive coordinator is Browns OC Norv Turner, per league sources.

That'd be a great hire.

Would love to get Norv. Early rumors has Zimmer bringing Linehan as his OC.

Please for the love of god hire Linehan instead of bringing on Turner.

Zim is a great hire and bringing on Vanillahan would lessen the blow.

Glad he's out of the AFC North.

He did alright with LT

#Bengals LB coach Paul Guenther is still deciding if he wants to join Mike Zimmer in Minnesota or stay in Cincy as DC. Has a Skins offer too

Probably about 0% chance he goes to the Redskins. Better chance he goes to the Vikes. Best change he stays with the Bengals...IMO.

Reasoning: coaches can fast track to HC gigs by taking an established unit and keeping them performing at a high level. See: Baltimore - every DC since 2000. Big risk taking a really bad defense and trying to turn it around. That could be a good way to never get another NFL job again if the unit doesn't get better.

He said Patterson, not Peterson. As in Cordarrelle Patterson, the wide receiver.

So who's going to be Cincinnati's next coordinator? It will be interesting to see how they do next year. The Bengals have a lot of talent on defense, but Zimmer was a great coordinator who probably won't be easy to replace.

Bengals have lost everything. They won't be the same team next year. For better or for worse. Except Andy Dalton, they kept him.

THIS shouldve been Detroit's hire.

Very good hire for the Vikes. With a better QB they may compete next year.

Losing Gruden and replacing him with Hue was a lateral move at worst. Losing Zim is big though.

Paul Guenther, who is apparently a hot commodity. Wanted in Cincy (already on staff), Minnesota and Washington. And those last two are going to offer him contracts without interviewing. So yeah...

If he leaves, it'll be Jim Schwartz.

Depending on who they hire as OC, this could be good.

Not sure Zimmer is really a HC though, but I like rolling the dice.
