Because he's an absolute stud. He's been rising up everyone's draft boards. He's a perfect fit for a Cover 2 defense and he's being compared to Derrick Brooks. Look for the Vikings or the Bucs to be extremely interested in him.
As for your mock. I think it's one of the best I've seen. Great job and I'd love to see how you'd do Rounds 2 and 3. |

our secondary is probably our biggest priority I could live with Kiwi though |

over all not bad - but not a good pick for the vikings - CB is not that great of a need to be picking in the first round - LB would a better pick

I really like the Cowboys taking Carpenter. I know there is a possibility of moving down in the draft and picking up an extra pick, maybe a third. If this happens, I think we take Gabe Watson or another available OLB. Solid draft all around.
