This is funny... because no one in the NFL is worth this much. (AP is the closest, but with some mileage and the injury still not worth that much.)

THX SF FOR EMPTYING THE BANK! Very Happy

AP...

As in Adrian Peterson?

Maybe my sarcasm detector hasn't booted up this morning, but are you saying you'd give a RB a $100m contract? Or close, anyways?

Rather sizable bump, but this contract just continues to look worse:

Colin Kapernick’s deal contains de-escalator lowering 2015 salary $2 million if he is not selected All-NFL AND 49ers fail to win NFC Champ.

In other words, what was originally thought to be a $12.4 million salary (according to rotoworld) looks incredibly likely to drop to $2 million. I don't even know how his agent brought this deal to him.

Not questioning you but that reads like it drops two million not it drops to two million?

Well now I'm just embarrassed. Not bad at all. This is what I get for skimming tweets and posting at work. Could really use mod powers in this forum to make it all disappear.

These contracts are ridiculous. How do teams plan on keeping other talent around when all their money is tied up to one player?

The Cap is gonna balloon soon enough ... and they will have tied up a player at less then they would have gotten later ... is what I am assuming ...
