This is a revolutionary signing, all teams should start to do this. Sign the biggest retread DB possible for your defensive players to beat the hell out of before releasing him. Gets their morale up to have a bit of fun during the otherwise boring offseason/preseason.

Pretty sure something like that would have epic consequences for a team especially after this whole bullying thing.

Personally I don't ever see him being able to win the #1 QB position on any teams out there, but in Jimmy's case that isn't all that bad. He seems to be one of those guys who teams and coaches do enjoy having him as their #2, being someone who is capable during stretches, just doesn't have that #1 QB/Starter consistency. He's still super young, and I think that he's probably now just getting back to 100% health after having an injury riddled last 2 seasons or so.. so I see him as being a good #2. And when you think about it.. he's just one snap away from being that teams #1 QB/Starter.. which means if he ends up getting enough reps in that year as to where another team without a QB likes what they see.. then boom the guy found himself another job. Good luck to him.

(like others had said, I remember how crazy they hype was for him coming out of High School.. I remember when he decided to go to Notre Dame over I think it was USC, I remember some guys on this forum go nuts. I could be wrong, but I think I remember that situation happen with BananasRUSC when Clausen chose ND.. just imagine how Bananas would have taken it.. Laughing )

Clausen isn't going to be Chicago's #2 QB, or anyone's #2. He's horrible.

I personally never got all the hype surrounding this guy.

He would be lucky to even make the team

I'll never forget Mel Kiper saying that we'd regret it if we passed on Clausen at number seven or wherever we were picking that year. Good times.
