29.San Francisco 49ers  : T.Waynes CB Michigan St
61.San Francisco 49ers  : J.Richards S Stanford

would be my preferred selections in this scenario...

Tied with Romo's huge contract they just can't take a QB for now. Williams is a beast inside.

I'd pass out. Although, I'd prefer E.Striker LB Oklahoma to Agholor despite my USC love. This defense is still multiple players away.
As you said, that defense is multiple players away..So the quicker way to help that defense ( and the team) could be to add another playmaker on offense. Romo is good (not top 5 but top 15 of the league), Bryant, Murray, Oline...They need another playmaker to pair with Dez and Williams and that offense could be very good. Add Striker and the defense would be better but still..multiple players away. Just a thought.

I think you two are way off. Witten and Escobar, not to mention an expanded role this year for Beasley and the up and coming Devin Street. Add all that to Bryant, Williams, Murray, Dunbar and Ryan Williams...Plus a very stout oline...you dont go offense as a need in this draft...defense defense defense...DTs...DEs...LBs...a playmaking safety...anything but more "weapons on offense"

4. Miami Dolphins : T.Gurley RB Georgia
36.Miami Dolphins : D.Johnson RB Miami

Way too high for a RB. And two of them?

Not very likely for Chicago... Phil Emery is essentially strictly a need based drafter at this point, ESPECIALLY, in round 1 where he has continuously said he expects his 1st round picks to be starters right away. The reality is almost any DE drafted in the 1st in 2015 would be 4th on the depth chart behind Jared Allen, Lamarr Houston, and Willie Young. If Emery holds true to his statements in the past, the only positions that will likely even have a needed starter would be Center(I'm Garza leaves/retires), Cornerback(If Tillman leaves/retires), Linebacker(If Briggs leaves/retires), and potentially Safety as I don't have much faith in Ryan Mundy or Adrian Wilson at SS.

If the draft fell this way, I'd be shocked if Emery who favors speed and athletes passed on Vic Beasley to play that SLB role in the 43. Hroniss Grasu is another option as Emery loves the athletic, high potential lineman. He has a history playing with Kyle Long too.

Round 2 I like Karl Joseph there, he reminds me a lot of Eric Berry who was drafted by Kansas City when Emery was the Director of College Scouting. He has a lot of traits Emery looks for in DB's, guys that play fast and make plays.

Doesn't make much sense for the 49ers to draft Justin Smith's replacement when his replacement is already on the team.

- jameis won't enter the draft next year

- I prefer Darby but you got the position correct

- Nick O'Leary is a great pick but he will be a first rounder by next year imo

Minnesota should pair Bridgewater back up with Devante Parker!

Solid Lions mock. CB and DT are likely the two biggest needs they'll have next offseason. The secondary is awful, and Suh/Fairley are likely to leave via FA.

Rubin will be free-agent and if he does not play better than in 2013 he could be gone.

I don't hate the pick, but your reasoning is off. The Browns D-line is 6 deep in guys who are solid or better and Rubin played fine in '13. If this is a BPA pick then fine, but the reasoning didn't really fit.

Why are the Seahawks taking a QB in the second round?
