1. Houston Texans - Reggie Bush RB, USC
*I don't think anyone will offer what Houston wants for the first pick in this draft but no matter who gets the pick, it's Bush.
2. New Orleans Saints - D'Brickashaw Ferguson OT, Virginia
*The Saints could use some help at LB but Ferguson and Brown look pretty tempting on opposite sides of the line and tough to get around.
3. Tennessee Titans - Matt Leinart QB, USC
*Said to be the best QB in the draft and Chow won't have any arguements with this one.
4. New York Jets - AJ Hawk LB, Ohio St.
*Would have been much happier with Ferguson but the Saints nabbed him. What a great, not to mention young, linebacking core.
5. Green Bay Packers - Mario Willaims DE, NC State
*Can Kampman have the same season? Either way, Williams will make a huge impact putting pressure on the QB so that the secondary may even improve.
6. San Fransisco 49ers - Vernon Davis TE, Maryland
*When you think of a QB's go-to-guy, you think of a WR. How about a 240 lb WR being covered by LBs?
7. Oakland Raiders - Jay Cutler QB, Vanderbilt
*Brooks won't last very long and how hard could it possibly be to start your career throwing to Moss and Porter?
8. Buffalo Bills - Haloti Ngata DT, Oregon
*Takeo Spikes and London Fletcher will have great years while Ngata is preventing all 3 of the interior linemen from reaching the 2nd level.
9. Detroit Lions - Michael Huff S/CB, Texas
*Millen and Martz should both be arguing for Chad Jackson but they were both locked up during the draft so the Lions decided to try some defense.
10. Arizona Cardinals - Jimmy Willaims CB/S, Virginia Tech
*No matter what he plays in the backfield, him and Rolle will improve this defense along with Wilson. Talk about a good secondary.
11. St. Louis Rams - Manny Lawson LB, NC State
*The Rams updated and upgraded with Chavous and Witherspoon. Pisa is coming on quite well and the SLB position will be filled by this young man while possibly leaving the uncertainty on the D-Line instead.
12. Cleveland Browns - Brodrick Bunkley DT, FSU
*Second best DT in the draft, best by some. Cleveland has vastly improved this offseason and Bunkley is no slouch.
13. Baltimore Ravens - Winston Justic OT, USC
*I would have said RB but the Ravens orginization seems to think Jamal Lewis will have another good year. He just had to get used to his Offensive Guards rather than his prison guards.
14. Philadelphia Eagles - Chad Greenway LB, Iowa
*Secondary along with D-Line are fine. THe only other place I could see them drafting is WR but with this class, a late round WR could be just as good.
15. Denver Broncos (Atlanta) - Chad Jackson WR, Florida
*Not listening to the Eagle's reasoning, the Broncos have faith in their defense so far except for maybe the DE spot but they feel confident that they can pick up Hali at 22.
16. Miami Dolphins - Ernie Sims LB, FSU
*Ernie Sims and Channing Crowder can possibly match up with division rivals, AJ Hawk and Jon Vilma, with some time.
17. Minnesota Vikings - Vince Young QB, Texas
*I'm sure Childress liked Culpepper's talent, Culpepper just wouldn't cooperate. Maybe they can convince Young to where #11 just to make them feel comfortable.
18. Dallas Cowboys - Bobby Carpenter LB, Ohio St.
*This LB was already "tweened". Parcells can just stick him in and the McNabb can't scramble left nor right. The only choice he really has to make is Ware or Carpenter.
19. San Diego Chargers - Marcus McNeil OT, Auburn
*Probably could use a WR but like Philly said, draft class is too weak and LT seems to be a more pressing need.
20. Kansas City Chiefs - Tye Hill CB, Clemson
*With an impressive senior bowl I can see Hill fitting in to this defensive scheme very well.
21. New England Patriots - DeAngelo Willaims RB, Memphis
*Corey Dillon is getting older and the Patriots would like to get back to the big game. DeAngelo could give something Dillon can't. I could also see them taking a DB.
22. Denver Broncos - Tamba Hali DE, Penn St
*The Broncos just filled their 2 biggest needs with two potential rookie starters. They can now use the rest of the picks to develop some depth. Maybe at QB?
23. Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Eric Winston OT, Miami
*This defense has been known for being very good. I think they can back it up again so why not give the Caddy a new escort.
24. Cincinattii Bengals - Antonio Cromartie CB, FSU
*The Bengals are already set at starters for a CB but this kid could be amazing after sitting behind O'Neal and James for a year.
25. New York Giants - Santonio Holmes WR, Ohio St
*I know I will get bashed by Giants fans for this but until the addition of Plaxico, the Giants WR's haven't done crap. Toomer is a good WR but Santonio and Plaxico would not only sound better but be better.
26. Chicago Bears - Leonard Pope TE, Georgia
*With this amazing defense, you have to go offense. QB's are still battling, picked up Benson in last years draft. Your only choice is a new receiving threat.
27. Carolina Panthers - LenDale White RB, USC
*They just resigned Foster but he can never stay completley healthy. LenDale will take over "when" this happens and it will probably end up staying that way.
28. Jacksonville Jaguars - Thomas Howard LB, UTEP
*The Jaguars will be the new AFC South champs and their front 7 will be quite the force especially with this guy.
29. New York Jets - Nick Mangold C, Ohio St
*Mawae was a pro-bowler, too bad he's no longer with the Jets. Mangold has the same potential.
30. Indianapolis Colts - Laurence Maroney RB, Minnesota
*The Edge is gone and Manning needs atleast a decent running game to free his receviers.
31. Seattle Seahawks - Max Jean-Gilles OG, Georgia
*Probably the best guard in the draft and thats what the Seahawks need to fill the void of Hutch.
32. Donte Whitner S, Ohio St.
*I think they would pass on Moss and fill a void that cost them in FA. _________________

| LOL to the Lions explanation...I bet they would lock em up. Giants are in greater need of LB, and a mid-round WR isn't a bad option. Maybe go w/ DeMeco Ryans here instead...? Great Bears pick. Very impressive mock. A pat on the back to you, my friend |

I like the pick, but not the explanation. We will absolutely not draft a WR in the first round. _________________ Think you know your Eagles? Sign up and try to beat my wife! |

About as much as it would be at 12 (like about 50% of these mocks have now).
Bunkley's a solid pick, though. |

Still waiting to see Lawson in the top 20 by a legit nfl draft expert. Because he is going no higher then 24 in any mocks on the web. _________________

| The lions joke is pretty old. It was funny a year ago. Good pick for us though. Huff would be a nice upgrade at FS. |
