Hell, even if they don't get Derrick Johnson, they get Antrel Rolle.

you really think your picks are exactly how the draft will go?

what about this,

#1 San Fran- Aaron Rogers (not their ideal choice, but they need it)
#2 Miami- Derrick Johnson/Mike Williams/Ronnie Brown (they trade Surtain for a RB, or just pick one up in FA, and steroid pumped D. Boston gets released)
#3 Cleveland- Derrick Johnson/Ronnie Brown/Alex Smith (they go after a FA QB, and suck up 1 bad year to try and get another guy next year, since Crennel has a "pass" on this year, and they want to take the BEST player, instead of "needed" position)
#4 Chicago- Derrick Johnson/B.Edwards/M.Williams/RB/Rolle (not much need for explaination)
#5 Tampa- M.Williams/C.Williams/R.Brown/D.Johnson (they have "promised" Mike to draft him if he's on the board)
#6 Tennessee- M.Williams/B.Edwards/D.Johnson/A.Rolle (they could use any of these postions badly

in almost every situation a team could take Derrick Johnson, and I wouldnt put it past ANY team, to take him at ANY of those spots

honestly, the only teams that dont seem to make as much sense is Tampa (already a fantastic D, with an offensive minded coach) and San Fransico (they'd get boycotted if they drafted him at #1, when they have so many other needs) BUT from there, who else couldnt really afford to take him?

The Browns keep saying they WONT take Alex Smith (who knows, could be BS to try and move down a few spots+get picks AND take Alex Smith anyway) they still also have the option of picking up Kurt Warner, or Brad Johnson... both guys who could simply come in and hold the fort down for a year while the Browns wait on the QB issue (as I've said, Crennel will get a "pass" on this year, so even if they end up 3-13, it wont matter)

The Dolphins have so many options with the trade of Surtain, that they could pick up an RB one way or another, and if they do that, why not go for the big "hype" guy that a lot of people feel is the best player in the draft, Derrick Johnson.

The Bears is the same issue, they picked up Moose, sure he's no long term solution, but why not add DJ to the mix with Urlacher, and have an amazing set of LBs, for an already defensive minded coach. Obviously Mike Williams and Braylon Edwards would be great, but dont think DJ isnt an option for them either.

with how "foggy" things are, dont just assume it'll be obvious that DJ is there... heck, I'd not be surprised if the Titans go after Antrel Rolle, since they're losing both Andre Dyson and Samari Rolle (more than likely anyway)

So that'd leave you without either of them.

Dont get too cocky in your draft predictions, if you REALLY want someone in the draft, you usually have to move up, because most other teams feel that player is good too, and if they dont, then he isnt worth the pick, and he's simply a position draft, which in Derrick Johnsons case, is NOT an issue.
