Lombardi uses a FB quite often in his offense and we lost Jed Collins in FA. |

Drafting players with character, injury, and work-ethic concerns has been Mayhew's biggest downfall. I'm glad he doesn't take these type of risks anymore.

This is my least favorite pick as well. But I understand it. And apparently Mayhew himself really liked the kid. So we'll see how it works out on the field.
Says alot about Bennett and Ifo that both are still available though.
Edit: As soon as a I post this, Bennett is drafted by Jacksonville.  |

I agree. Some guys with issues work it out. Others don't and hurt their team many times at critical points.
None of these guys are such superior talents that they can't be passed on for someone else.
