Antonio Brown has been one of the best, if not the best receiver statistically the last two seasons. He deserves it most of the four. Yeah Odell had an okay season but no rookie should ever get on the cover no matter how much hype they get. PP isn't a top corner lol. Gronk could get the cover and I wouldn't mind but Brown is easily most deserving in my eyes. A cover with Antonio Brown Sparta kicking a punter? Yes please

I could be wrong, but they don't actually use actual in game photos for covers do they?

Nope. They do an entire photoshoot for the cover.

They'll just have to bring in Spencer Lanning for the photoshoot.

It's going to be Gronk.

Brown is his only serious competition and he's still a relative unknown among more casual fans.

Not even close. OBJ is his only competition because ESPN fuels the Gronk/OBJ image all the damn time, and because of what you said after the bolded section about Brown.

I meant more in terms of who actually deserves it; I agree with what you're saying.

That's what I'm saying. What would it hurt having four cover athletes and you get to pick the madden with a certain cover? I mean, the brown one may not sell as much as the Beckham, but still it'd be cool and a changeup

Why are some people taking the cover vote so seriously? It's just a cool honor for a popular player. That's it.

I haven't played the game in a few weeks so I have already forgotten who last year's cover athlete was. I'll probably vote for either Gronk or Peterson. I think that OBJ will have plenty of opportunities being a much ballyhooed WR in the NY market to get on the cover.

They should make Gronk's cover the pic of him and the porn star wearing his jersey.

Oh yeah. In terms of talent it would still be hands down Gronk because he's without a doubt the best TE in the game. OBJ/AB are both like top 10 WR's and Peterson is like a top 10 CB.

But I mean, the cover is seriously stupid. Just pick someone and put them on the cover and revolve the game around them like they did in 2005 with Ray Lewis and the Hit Stick.

Make it Kam Chancellor and include some Finish Him Style Mortal Kombat Fatality where you play in first person as Kam Chancellor and truck stick a dudes spinal column out of his rectum if you time it perfectly.

Obj isn't top ten, you cant be top ten after one season. Ab is top 5. Peterson shouldn't be a candidate.
