Shame Simmonds couldn't finish that, could've been the play of the year.

I feel like I keep preaching the same thing but....time to get back on the horse tonight. Colorado is without Duchene and MacKinnon, we should take advantage.

Huge effing win, Giroux is such a stud.

I still hate Hakstol's late game coaching, I don't even think G was on the ice at all with the goalie pulled.

Yeah, I thought Berube's third period strategies were bad. Hakstol's philosophy with the opposing goalie pulled is mind numbingly frustrating.

But great win last night, I actually stayed up for it and was very happy I did. Shouldn't have been that close without MacKinnon and Duchene, but Varlamov was the reason for that more than anything.

Varly had a hell of a game. Should have had a couple more goals.

Thats it....I'm buying a freakin' Ghost shirt today, jersey numbers be damned. The kid just finds a way to make plays and those plays win us games more often than not.

What more is there to say about this kid?

He's remarkable, and so much fun to watch.

He is a really fun player to watch. Probably the only time I have ever agreed with Milbury is when he compared him to Phil Housley.

....and that's saying something because Millbury openly hates the Flyers.

I'll admit I thought he was too small and would be too much of a liability in his own zone to make it in the NHL. The same issues could have been said about Erik Karlsson when he was first starting. That said you can't keep players like that out of the lineup because they offer too much offensively.
