so Vince Young...is he the football equivalent of road runner?
Can he count to 60?
and more importantly, who will take him on?

Too stupid to run an offense, couldnt even get a college playbook down, they had to take stuff out. He has BUST written all over him

Dude you posted this in the wrong place, but since I'm typin this Young is good, but not top 10 good. Id take him as the Vikings QB, but Im probably the only one.

Whoever said not in first round is completely insane and should be checked on immedeately. Vince Young will go in the top ten, and with his talent it's the right area. The question isn't where will he go, but how much success will he have. By the way, the wonderlic should really mean nothing more than nothing.

Dan Marnio got like a 12 and guys like Jason Mass and Tony Romo got in the 40's this means nothing.

Duante and Donvan McNabb scored like either 13s or 16s. I would not over weigh this you I will say it time and time agian you can play or you can't.

Any team that takes him is going to have to factor this in:

You are going to have to throw out the entire offensive playbook, and write a new one.

The Wonderlic score only proved what every GM in the league already knew: Young is not quick at processing information.

That is not a problem if you have one, maybe two reads, and then pull it down to run.

The problem is, no NFL offense could be successful doing that.

My biggest concern is, that even in a shotgun offense, he couldn't read defenses well. How is he going to be able to do that while dropping back?

He's basically an infant as a NFL QB. He's going to have to be taught how to drop back, read defenses, go through more than two options among a host of other fundamentals he completely lacks.

Forget the Wonderlic, here's my main concern with Vince Young, and it comes from the mouth of Mack Brown himself.

"When we stopped coaching him, he started playing great."

Nobody in the NFL, and I mean nobody, is so good they don't need coaching.

Is Vince Young that good?

If he were, he'd be the #1 pick for sure.

I don't think he is, and there are many other factors that will have him slide out of the top 10.

My prediction is he goes 12th overall.

In a trade.

Minnesota has the ammo to get from 17 to 12 rather easily, and need a young QB to run Brad Childress' offense after Brad Johnson is used up.

All they would have to give up is their two 3rd rounders, picks 83 and 95.

Wishful thinking, I suppose...
