Figured I'd get some discussion going about the divisional game.

Even though McCoy is looking like he wont play, this game still worries me. Not so much that I fear the Bills, but more so that I fear having 2 loses to a divisional rival. Typically we win at least the first matchup with our div rivals.

This game is irrelevant to ya'll, sans revenge.

No shady, Aarron Wiiliams, or Goodwin. A hobbled Woods. This is going to get ugly.

The loss to the Phins last week really hurt us.

Not expecting anything close to a win, hopefully no more injuries, and best of luck to you guys.

Dolphins found key to victory at the wrong time. Im expecting to get killed this week. To many hurt players an this time we got Brady to deal with.

I don't expect to win either, and I think it's just because we're Bills fan but the pessimism from some posters declaring this games over already is annoying af.

Yes Shady McCoy being out sucks, but IMO him alone wouldn't dictate a win or a loss. It's going to come down to the trenches. If our OL can block like they did last time against the Pats, our running game should be fine. Then we need our DL plus Dareus to get pressure on Brady and force him to make quick, errant throws. Plus we're at home which will help a bit.

28-20 Pats.

With Sammy Watkins, Shady and Aaron Williams it would be a different story at home.

Our front has been able to contain some pretty dangerous runners behind better lines than that of the Bills. Tyrod needs to beat us through the air and on the ground, that is the Bills key to offensive success. The pass rush has very inconsistent for the Pats, when we do get pressure we either havent contained and the pass gets off or its an A gap blitz by Hightower or Collins, which Tyrod can exploit to scramble to the outside and gain some good yards.

Idk how accurate that is. We had the #1 rushing attack last year and have the #2 rushing O this year with the best YPC of any team so I would argue you haven't gone against better lines and that we have the best rushing OL in the NFL.

Cordy Glenn (LT) is elite/top 10. Incognito is a top 5 G, Eric Wood great C and prior 1st round pick, John Miller (2nd year RG) playing as good as any G in the NFL minus last week and then Jordan Mills has been a serviceable RT.

But I agree with everything else. Our defense vs the Pats offense should be a good matchup but this game is going to be put squarely on Tyrods shoulders and he's going to have to play a backyard-playground style game to score without Watkins or McCoy, - broken down plays, long scrambles, etc.

Gameday!

I'm guessing we will see little to none of Van Noy this week, and will expect to see him integrated slowly after the bye week.

Nevermind, just spotted the inactives list for today. For the Pats:

DT Woodrow Hamilton

RB Tyler Gaffney

LB Kyle Van Noy

RB D.J. Foster

OT LaAdrian Waddle

CB Cyrus Jones

WR Malcolm Mitchell

For the Bills:

S Aaron Williams

WR Marquise Goodwin

RB LeSean McCoy

DT Jerel Worthy

QB Cardale Jones

T Seantrel Henderson

C Patrick Lewis

Shady being out could be big. Here's hoping Gillislee is not great in relief.
