Gary Baxter adds good speed and coverage to the secondary... We lack(ed) even a decent amount of speed.... _________________

I know I'm getting a little out over my skiis here, but Baxter was the one free agent I thought was worth inflated market dollars this year. He runs like a corner and has above average ball skills, yet hits like a safety. The perfect addition to a rebuilding team. 26 and he could start (and excel) at any position in the defensive backfield.
I'm not normally an optomist, but Phil is winning me over. |
