45% is basically going 7-9 on average. So for a Rams fan I can understand why you think that's not bad at all. In fact 7-9 is 43.75%, so yeah, even better than that.

Personally i dislike the homefield for a tag in the championship. Not so much because of how one team could theoretically get it, but how it is far more likely to be a detriment to a random team.

Take the past conference games, for example. Direwolves won, they have their homefield in 1 degree weather setting chance, 50-50 wind and rain (snow). But what if they lost? Suddenly the Bulls, with 78 degree weather, a hot weather team, now has the additional drawback of playing in poor conditions once again. Had Egypt emerged with their 35 degree weather, it gives them an edge, especially factoring in the Europe time zone.

So while I understand the concept behind it, and the trade off of losing a tag for the benefit, more likely than not the odds show it'll probably end up being a drawback for another team.

I'd explained when i moved my team to Rio that it was climate controlled, so i could technically adjust the temp to whatever, but if this holds up and the next championship is held in Reykjavek, I don't see why I shouldn't have my team temporarily move to Europe into freezing conditions for a season. Still keep the same name and location intact. But if the Bowl game would have conditions favoring a certain team element, i wouldn't want to decrease my chances if my team somehow got to that point.

This is a valid point. If other people have those concerns, I suppose I can simply rescind the idea.

My only concern is the gamble. I don't wanna lose a tag and NOT get the game. Especially before the draft. Laughing

Maybe change it to the current playoff teams at the time?

I get the rational behind what ruskie is saying.

But in the NFL sometimes it happens that teams play at a disadvantage/advantage in the SB

MetLife hosted a sb and I'm sure it would have been a better situation for the Giants/cooler climate teams than it would have been the cowboys/warmer climate teams.

You have some teams (like yours) where having home field advantage would be such a benefit for the home team and a hindrance for the away team that it would be borderline unfair. Laughing

With that same notion though if I were to ever play in a non neutral stadium outside of my own I'd have a huge disadvantage as well.

Blessing and a curse owning a team in asia

Congrats to TK3 on bringing home the championship! It was a good playoff run this season.

I'm also opting to not but Baltimore in for the championship site. Especially with no qb at this time yet again.

Think it's time for a relocation anyways. Baltimore is a little played out for the franchise ... tbd

I was wondering if you'd ever actually change your team. You've been the last "NFL branded" NSFL team for awhile, now.

I think it's time. Change up that bad mojo of the past few seasons there.

You want us to keep the new changes to actual cities and not mythical correct?

Yes, I decided that was best for the league's suspension of disbelief.

Just need to pick a real location - cities, areas (for example "Egypt" or "Rhode Island"), and even common nicknames ("Motor City" instead of Detroit, or "New England") are fine. I also ask that you make your Stadium's stats (Time zone, temperature, wind, precipitation) match your location as best as you can.

I'd also ask to keep it distinct from other teams. No two Miami teams or making a "Florida" (as in all of Florida, relocating to Tampa Bay for example would be fine) team for example. I also prefer if you choose a color combination that isn't too close to another team's.

That just about sums up what I care about :p

Throwing this out there;

I'm willing to listen to offers for Doug Baldwin and DeSean Jackson. HMU.
