Sorry, I can't get it out of my head how ridiculously bad Pennywise's true form looked. I don't know whether it was a product of bad writing or low budget or any combination of the two, but it was lulzworthy bad. The choppy animations sure didn't help.

It was a TV movie

From almost 30 years ago. If you used your imagination it still worked.

First movie to have me truly excited in probably 20 years. The trailers just keep getting me more hyped.

The movie isn't going to be as good as you're thinking it is

Which is why I never get excited about movies.

But I can't help it on this one. I've been a huge fan of the book for like 25 years. As much as I want to be realistic and temper expectations, I just can't.

This looks so good. I think they're finally going to make it how I've wanted it ever since my introduction to it as a young lad.

It looks like it has potential but they whiffed hard on the clown imo. The point of the clown was to seduce kids into thinking it was a harmless thing and not a monster. A permanently monstrous looking clown isn't all that scary to me.

Only to the point of luring them. You keep missing the fact that The Loser's Club recognizes Pennywise, and thus they cannot be lured by him anymore. Once Pennywise realized that about The Loser's Club, he purposefully became more menacing. Quit with this complaint because it's not valid. You've seen nothing of how Pennywise acts around kids it's attempting to lure.

Posting that picture as some sort of point is terrible. You can take freeze frames of Ronald McDonald and make him look terrifying. You need to get off that point because you're wrong, I've proven you wrong, the movie will prove you wrong when Pennywise talks to Georgie, and I'll be here a couple weeks into September to remind you that you're wrong.

And how many times you gonna bring up that damn scene?

I mean, to be fair Tyty, you don't know if Pennywise will have two looks like he did in the original. It certainly looks like he'll only have one but there's nothing to say he doesn't have more as of yet. All speculation.

Pennywise here...another thread I saw you arguing the Rock's acting abilities vs. Batista's ... you just like to argue don't you? Wink
