This is not a prediction of what teams will do, these are the picks that as GM I would make for each team, based on need, BPA and style of play:

Round 1:

1 CLE: Myles Garrett DE Texas A&M---consensus pick.

2 SF: Malik Hooker, FS, Ohio St.---Eric Reid slides down to SS (contract year) in favor of adding elite FS (impossible for former S John Lynch to overlook)

3 CHI: Jamal Adams, S, LSU---John Fox needs a safety to make things miserable for Rodgers and Stafford.

4 JAX: Leonard Fournette, RB, LSU---bell cow RB to take pressure off Bortles

5 TEN: Solomon Thomas, DE, Stanford---building a Titanic defense.

6 NYJ: Marshon Lattimore, CB, Ohio St.---big-time talent for big-time need.

7 LAC: Jonathan Allen, DT, Alabama---building a thunder and lightning pass rush.

8 CAR: Dalvin Cook, RB, FSU---adds lightning to Stewarts’ thunder.

9 CIN: Reuben Foster, ILB, Alabama---Marvin’s kind of impact LB.

10 BUF: John Ross, WR, Washington---the new Marguise, only way better

11 NO: Christian McCaffrey, RB/WR/PR, Stanford---triple threat who helps win close games.

12 NE (from CLE for QB Jimmy Garoppolo): O.J. Howard, TE, Alabama---made to order.

13 AZ: Haason Reddick, ILB/OLB, Temple---The Temple of Boom lands in AZ.

14 PHI: Corey Davis, WR, Western Michigan---another explosive target for Wentz

15 IND: Ryan Ramczyk, T, Wisconsin---best T in draft to help keep Luck clean.

16 BAL: Charles Harris, Edge, Missouri---a faster, equally tenacious version of Markus Golden.

17 WAS: Mitchell Trubisky, QB, North Carolina---last year for Cousins in DC.

18 TEN: Jabrill Peppers, S/PR, Michigan---challenges Searcy for SS job, becomes STs ace

19 TB: Alvin Kamara, RB, Tennessee---perfect fit for their offense.

20 DEN: Garrett Bolles, T, Utah---perfect fit.

21 DET: Takkarist McKinley, Edge, UCLA---need to get to Aaron Rodgers.

22 MIA: David Njoku, TE, Miami---taking a page out of the Patriots’ playbook.

23 NYG: Zach Cunningham, LB, Vanderbilt---want to play faster on defense.

24 OAK: Tre’Davious White, CB, Tennessee---speed baby speed.

25 HOU: DeShone Kizer, QB, Notre Dame---time to add QBOF, good system fit.

26 SEA: Forrest Lamp, G/T, Western Kentucky---big-time need, Lamp could be best OL in draft.

27 KC: Marlon Humphrey, CB, Alabama---what a secondary in KC

28 DAL: Gareon Conley, CB, Ohio St.---could start right away, great system fit.

29 GB: Tim Williams, Edge, Alabama---better pass rush helps secondary.

30 PIT: Carl Lawson, Edge, Auburn---in the Harrison/Woodley mold.

31 ATL: Taco Charlton, DE, Michigan---edge rushing depth needed, Taco rings the Bell

32 NO: Tyus Bowser, OLB/DE, Houston---edge speed and bend

33 CLE: Quincy Wilson, CB, Florida

40 CAR: Cam Robinson, T/G, Alabama

41 CIN: Malik McDowell, DT/DE, Michigan St.

42 NO: Jarrad Davis, LB, Florida

43 PHI: Jordan Willis, DE, Kansas St.

44 BUF: Chidobe Awuzie, CB, Colorado

45 AZ: Patrick Mahomes II, QB, Texas Tech

#12 for JG....no thank you....New England backups have busted all over the place and he is nowhere near the #12 pick with as little game time he has had.

Cleveland waits until next year to address QB as that class is so much stronger than JG or anyone else we could pick up.

Eh, don't see the fit in LeBeau's defenS. He's not an OLB and he's not the type of DL that LeBeau looks for(space eaters). Jurrell Casey is the exception although his role as a pass-rusher has decreased due to LeBeau's scheme. Just think it would be a waste. Lattimore would be the better pick.

18 TEN: Jabrill Peppers, S/PR, Michigan---challenges Searcy for SS job, becomes STs ace

Searcy has already been replaced by FA signing Cyprien. He's going to be the box safety. Kevin Byard will be the FS. However, LeBeau like to use a 3rd safety a lot. Just would prefer one with much better coverage skills than Peppers. I love the way he plays and I think he could excel. Just would prefer Njoku here.

Then you sir would be a masterful falcons GM this year as Taco + Dawkins would be a monster draft for us in the 1st 2 rounds. It covers our 2 biggest needs with amazingly good value, scheme fit, and talent.

In the 3rd round if we could target a Zone Centerfield style FS and this draft would be amazing. OLb, TE, or Power RB in the few rounds after that and were golden.

I still like the idea of Foster and Burfict as a duo. Not sure that Marvin can light the kind of fire that McDowell seems to need, but I think Marvin believes he can do it, so it makes sense. Personally, I'd take Willis as a true end, but it still works.

Lions perspective.

Takk MK is an interesting player but doesn't fit the need of a closed end DLE. He looks more like a wide nine or 34 OLB. We need a DE/DT power guy to set the edge in the run game, provide some push from the edge, and slide inside on 3rd and long. Ziggy Ansah is our pass rushing DRE. And we have 2 pass rush specialists who did fairly well in providing chaos from the edge while Ziggy was hurt.

But our LB corp is worse than you can possibly imagine. I won't get into the nuts and bolts here, but if they don't find an impact LB in the 1st two (possibly 3) rounds it is going to get ugly. We need a 3T DT more than a DLE, though we need that too. And a boundary corner as well.

Zay is going to be a fine #2 WR somewhere. But there is little likelihood that WRs get a sniff from Detroit in the 1st 4 rounds. And then I would hazard that a #2TE would be much more alluring to Bob Quinn than a #3 WR who would see limited time. It seems they really did want to run the 12 personnel, but couldn't because of injury.

I'd fire you if you were the GM for the Ravens.

Mike Williams and TJ Watt.

10 is too high for Ross and no way Buffalo can pass on Mahomes if he slides into round 2.

rather OJ Howard than Lattimore for the Jets, but it's not a terrible pick. Watson in the 2nd is awesome

27 KC: Marlon Humphrey, CB, Alabama---what a secondary in KC
59 KC: Montavius Adams, DT, Auburn

Humphrey would be nice and I am not a D Watson fan, so good.
Adams, not so much. The Chiefs' DL is very athletic and Adams is not. Why not hit the other line, Dion Dawkins?

Based on the way this draft played out, I would much rather go Patrick Mahomes and Sidney Jones in the first two rounds. Mahomes is a much better fit for our offense than Kizer and Jones would be great value in the late second round and fill a need after Buoye left in free agency.

I'd be really excited with getting Feeney.
