Quote: | On the last day NFL teams can host draft prospects on top-30 visits, the Detroit Lions have speedy San Diego cornerback Jamal Agnew in town.
Agnew made nine interceptions in four seasons as a starter for the Toreros and is one of the fastest cornerbacks in the draft, running two sub-4.4-second 40-yard dashes at his pro day last month.
At just 5-feet-10, Agnew projects as a slot cornerback in the NFL, though he could double as a return man after averaging 12.7 yards as San Diego's punt returner last year. |

Special teams pick. Could be the (much needed) returner. Will compete at CB _________________

Not too bad but I wanted Watkins out of Clemson. I think that he is a very very good penetrating DT. But Agnew is a good Slot CB with great makeup speed. Ball skills are great. Could be a steal or could be a bust. This late in the draft it can be hard to tell. _________________ You Mix it up and I'll drink it, I am the Kool-Aid Man. |

Yep, ran two sub 4.4 40's. Should replace Andre Roberts as our return guy. |

Darius Slay tweeted out to Jamal Agnew,
Quote: | Welcome to the family Lil homie let's get that work @jamalagnew |
And then out of nowhere, Chad 'Ochocino' Johnson chimed into the conversation with a retweet and said,
Quote: | Yeah welcome to the family, I don't play anymore but I love you even though you can't cover me. |
Can't stop laughing at the randomness of Ocho. _________________

Yeah, I miss him. I guess right now I enjoy the Bennett brothers enough, but I miss the artist formerly known as ocho. |

Remember the offseason he worked out with Calvin and Stafford? I wouldn't have minded signing him. I love him. |

I like him to be a better pro than collegiate. PR/KR duties he should be able to lock those down by early in TC. He can play CB, he is actually a damn good corner. He has great ball skills and being in the slot he would really ball out. He is stronger than most people think also. Good pick for the Lions I am excited to see him this preseason returning kicks. _________________ You Mix it up and I'll drink it, I am the Kool-Aid Man. |
