As a bit of follow up for those who mentioned long running series, which guests have made for the best individual episodes of podcast series? Or if it's not a "guest" show, which particular topics?

For the Nerdist Podcast, the Tom Hanks episodes are just fantastic. If you like Tom Hanks at all, I feel you'll enjoy them. Can be found to download here:

Will Arnett was great too:

Burn through a bunch of podcasts at work. Last Podcast on the Left, You Made it Weird, Hardcore History, Serial and Revolutions are regular listens. Depending on the guest, I'll listen to Nerdist, Rogan, WTF and a few others.

I've probably listened to 90% of Joe Rogan's podcasts since their inception.

Talk is Jericho, but only listen to wrestlers.

Daniel Jeremiah's Move the Sticks.

Joe Daniel Football Coaching Podcast.

First Draft (seasonal)

Right now my favorite podcast is Road Trippin with Richard Jefferson and Channing Frye. They make podcasts why they are on the road. It was skeptical about it at first but it has been really good. They had episodes with James and and Irving. Irving has been on it the most and he comes off a lot more intellectual than you would expect. Timmy Duncan was on it and it was pretty good. Ken Bazemore was on an episode. His was damn good. I think there was one episode out of like 36 that was bad and I had to just skip it.

I am looking to get into my podcasts for work to help kill time.

I binged Serial's first season, so good. Very "Making-A-Murderer"-esque. I soooooooo want to start a thread discussing just b/c I have a couple theories which make a lot more sense than the prosecution's.
