Wut.

Did he knock some poor Midlands girl up on holiday and his parents are forcing him to marry her now?

There were rumours we were interested in him.

Guarantee he gets sold within a year or two to a PL team.

I'm sure they've got some agreement with one of the bigger agents around being able to sell these guys on. Basically, they buy a player at a certain value, but already have the opportunity to sell him on for a similar value.

The fees look huge, but they've effectively paid a few million, at worst, for what is basically a loan signing.

Nah, everyone said that about Costa.

We have one of the richest owners in the world. The worry is if we don't make Prem in a season or two will they lose interest?

Can't think of a way that Wolves will stay away from trouble if they continue like this tbh.

This has to be the most boring and slowest transfer window every... No deal being done, and teams just asking for crazy fees.

Why on Earth has John Terry joined Villa? Makes no sense from either his or Villas standpoint. In my opinion.

Well if we keep our owners it's not even a drop in the water, they are literally worth tens of billions.

My guess is he wanted to stay in England and didn't want to play against Chelsea. Still kind of an odd fit though.

Everton have signed Michael Keane on a five-year deal for a fee which could rise to a Club-record 30m

Everton are the only club signing players left and right... Must be that Lukaku money that they know they are going to get from Chelsea.

It actually makes a lot of sense, both from a playing standpoint and coaching standpoint.

Terry didn't want to play against Chelsea and wants to use this opportunity as a springboard to get himself into management.

Bruce wanted an experienced centre back with something left in the tank. He's also willing to bring Terry up to speed on the coaching and management side.

It's also said that Bruce's assistant was a big influence on Terry and that has also helped facilitate the deal.

Think they might well win the race to 100m.
